Have you retaken the medicals? You should probably have done so earlier since you knew it had expired

We applied last year but unfortunately it was refused due to a discrepancy in the work permit and certificate of employment. We cannot redo our medical because the clinic told us that our previous medical (Upfront) is still active. Our consultant informed us to wait for the request before we proceed to the medical examination.

Done with our medicals ( June 8, 2016 ) my hopes are high, praying and believing that Passport Request is coming.

Don't worry, you'll be there. Be patient, I know it's not easy but honestly there is no other option. I hope you've ordered your GCMS, you can also call CIC once you cross 6 month mark to know about your status; but honestly I pray you get good news before you cross 15th.

Hi All, We got our passports back today with CoPR.

I wanted to clarify one doubt. Please help. My wife will be travelling first and I will be travelling on a later date. She is primary applicant. I wanted to know if she has show the entire POF on landing (15000 CAD) or is it fine if she shows (7500 CAD) and I can show the rest when I land. Please help.

It was processed in Ottawa, then they sent to Sao Paulo only after my Security was done.
I will have to send my passport to SP.

How did you get your case reopened once been refused?

My application was refused because of the expiration date from my LMIA.
The officer from Service Canada who approved the LMIA she put the issued date and the expiration date in the same day.
The date issued for my LMIA was 11 November 2015 and the expiration was the same date 11 November and supposed to be 11 May 2016. (6 months validation )
They refused the application because the LMIA supposed to be valid in the day when I received the ITA and the date when I submitted my application which was expired because of Service Canada mistake.
The company who applied for LMIA contacted Service Canada and they corrected the date in their system.
I sent email in 23 May 2016 to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with the explanations letter received from Service Canada and in 26 May my application was updated and re-opened.
