Our destination is Regina, Saskatchewan. Please I need your advice as to what catholic elementary school in Regina is good for new immigrants? Thanks!

Hi Panggangan! I am also SINP nominated, waiting for PPR. I also plan to land in Regina and have done some research. Been eyeing to have the kids attend the Sacred Heart Catholic School. Hopefully we get PPR soon. I will get in touch with you

Guys just an insight that might help you. Schools here in Canada are region based. So only the accepted neighborhood are allowed to attend the school.
So if you want some specific school for your kids, keep in mind you are residing in the specific neighborhood.

It’s quite frustrating. There is no news at all. My AOR 12 Dec. I order GCMS notes on 17-Mar till now I didn’t get it. I sent email to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca asking for status of GCMS note its 5 days now they didn’t reply for that even.
Now what to do? any idea guys ? :-\ :-\

(Question for Inland Applicants) Anyone knows how many days usually we have to wait after Passport gets delivered in Ottawa?

It’s quite frustrating. There is no news at all. My AOR 12 Dec. I order GCMS notes on 17-Mar till now I didn’t get it. I sent email to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca asking for status of GCMS note its 5 days now they didn’t reply for that even.
Now what to do? any idea guys ? :-\ :-\

We have the same timeline - not expecting PPR til end of May now and may have to apply for BOWP (current permit expires July 21)

Is really frustrating.mine is expiring in june.

AOR - Dec 9
Background Check in Progress - 26th April. (Got update from Consultant)

Just a silly question: Does it mean that they started working on my file or just criminal check and medical is left.

I am just worried, as there is no email or anything yet.

Hello Nitinj.36, Yes its indeed frustrating (Especially when, everyone even Jan, Feb applicants getting their PPRs). But B+ as I also have same AOR which is 12th Dec (NDVO) and Background Not needed at this time. I applied GCMS on 3rd March and received on 27th April (applied another one very next day), so hope you will receive it in a week or two.

But hope that we both receive PPR before the GCMS notes arrives.

All the schools are good. There is no school specially designed for new immigrants. let your kid/s integrate with the society, he will learn more and would have broader career options.
