My background check status has been changed to "In Progress" . Now I'm hoping I will receive my PPR soon!

Unfortunately I lost my link to edit the spreadsheet, so I added a new entry. Can an admin please erase the old one?

Hello people. I had the strangest thing happen to me today. I logged in to Mycic casually. I did not get any updated mail or anything. My profile application status is Mycic read 'updated'. I clicked to open it but there was no change in any of the status. Did this happen to anyone else? I am FSW Inland applicant. Jan 19th AOR.

it will be in progress until you receive PPR.. might change one or two days before PPR...

Hi Guys.
Finally I got my PPR message this morning in My CIC page. Long wait over !

However I have a question -

I am from India but currently living in Germany. In the PPR document they have asked me to submit the passports to VFS India or VFS Nepal. I do not want to take the risk of sending the passports through courrier to India and asking some one to submit on my behallf (Not sure if that's possible even) or even directly sending the document to VFS through Courrier.

I have not yet checked if VFS services are available some were in Germany. Could any one assist me what should I do in this case ?

You are right.. As much as I am happy for everyone. I am mad at CEC applications not being processed !! there was a time when they were processed in like 2-3 months time..

I have ordered my GCMS twice and i could not see a major activity! sad !!

Congratulations on your PPR. If you look at the document, there is an email address provided, you can email IRCC and let them know of the changes in your situation. I am sure they will suggest you the next steps.

It's just looking more green line on top makes feel good instead of looking for all green lines in between and at last.

Yes lol strange it is now for CEC inlanders

I don't see any updates for anyone among CEC inlanders.

Hopefully the bunch of applications are to be considered shortly

After a long & quiet wait, I have just got a notification mail like a half day ago and my background check has gone in progress now. Keeping my fingers crossed!! Good luck guys and will keep you posted!
