Hi Guys,

Just got this on the IRCC website......

Why did processing times information change?

Prior to December 31, 2015, processing times for many of our services were displayed by visa office. This was useful when applications for permanent or temporary residence were always processed by the nearest visa office. However, we now have the ability to move applications around our global network to ensure they are processed as efficiently as possible. This means your application may not be processed at the office closest to where you live.

For many services, instead of asking about your nearest visa office, you are now asked for your country of residence. This provides you with a more accurate processing time. For other services, you may see a single processing time, no matter where you live. This is our commitment to process applications within that time. These processing times are updated on a weekly basis.

This tells us that your application can be processed anywhere in the world, and not necessarily your LVO. So the point is that we just have to wait until we get that RFV email.

Hi guys,

You can see it here....

Hi guys,

Contact Details for the IRCC Call Centre Agents..........does anyone know the number, and the extension to ask for?

Would appreciate it....just wanna call them at some point to check.

Thanks.

AOR- 22nd December
Medicals cleared in early January. Additional DOC required in Jan as I am PNP nominee.
Since then no updates, background check not need right now.
almost 4 months now. I applied after getting BC PNP, so its FSW_PNP

This is brutal... >:(

I was truly hoping that within 4 months CIC would actually process my application. I know I know... the "official" processing time is 6 months - BUT, seeing all these people (from December, even January) receiving their PPR within 2 or 3 months gave me the false hope that 4 would be a fair number.

Now, I've consulted with my immigration consultant and he told me that there are a lot of cases from November (especially FSW) which are still on hold... that means I should wait 6 fu...ing months due to CIC processing time (pardon for the language). I'm trying to be positive, but it's just hard when you're living in a limb (nor here nor there). Anyway... sorry for the complaints. :(

Background check went from 'not required at this time' to 'In progress' today without reception of any ghost email.
Our file is now being treated by the London (Ont.) office.

Category : FSW-Outland

Fingers crossed !

Status : FSW-Outland / Belgium / with valid LMIA
EE profile submitted : Oct 29
ITA: Nov 13
Submitted: Dec 12
AOR: Dec 14
Meds Passed: Dec 15 (were done upfront)
Bkground Chk in progress: Dec 17
Then Bkground chk changed to not needed at this time: Dec 27
Bkground Chk back in progress : Apr 19

How do we know in which visa office the file is being processed? or do you keep applying for electronic notes :-)

Cheers!

How long did it take to withdraw the EE application? Did you do it through CSE?
