which passport did you mentioned in express entry profile... if its new one then it should not be the issue or if you have updated them about new one through CSC

Thanks for your response.

I used my old passport information for my EE profile, because I only received the new passport for OOPNP application, which is after EE profile was submitted.

For my PR application file, I submitted both my old and new passport information.

My concern is I don't know if there is anything on the old passport they need to see, say my current Canadian Visa or work permit etc...

Thanks again.

I don't think they need to see anything. If they needed to see anything, they would have asked you during processing application. I think you are fine.

Thanks for the response, it is very reassuring.

I just panicked when I realized my passport would be an issue.
I will post here how things goes and hopefully anyone with similar situation can refer to this.

Thanks so much.

Hi All,
Got PPR on 15th April 2016.

Here is my Timeline
FSW/PNP Inland
AOR -- 28th Dec 2015
Sch A SUbmitted -- 15th Jan
Background In progress - 11th April
PPR-- 15th April
Passport sent -- 16th April

Congrats bro :)

You are the first candidate who got the PPR in FSW-inland category for December... But not sure if you are PNP or FSW. In the spreadsheet you are updated as FSW-Inland. If it is true then it is a big hope for FSW-Inland candidates. You got PPR in only 110 days. Otherwise the average time is 140 to 160 days for FSW-Inlands.

Hey we both are on the same situation. I did exactly what you did. However I am not to worried about it (just a little bit). As written in the email, they need valid passport with at least two blank pages on it. I think one of the main reasons is they will stamp our passports. Also, we have 30 days to submit passport correctly so in the event they need to see our old passports, I am pretty sure they will let us know before they make any decisions. *Fingers crossed

Hello Everyone,

I hardly post but would like to thank all of you for your valuable insights!

I had a quick query: I received request to pay RPRF yesterday and have made the payment today. What happens next? Do I have reason to believe that this might be the last hurdle to cross?

Thank you.

No one can say the exact steps after you pay RPRF as each application is different. As generic step, if all documents are in place and you meet the requirements, your background check status will be turned to In-Progress and security checks gets initiated or its already initiated.
