Hello all,

I wanted to know when exactly am I going to be considered a permanent resident? Is it when I receive my passport back with confirmation of PR?

I am asking because my work permit is expiring on April 30th and what if I don't get my passport back and CoPR by then? I sent my passport yesterday, and it will be delivered on Monday. I am not really sure whether IRCC can issue me the CoPR and apply PR sticker within 10 days Will I need to apply for BOWP in order to be technically on implied status? Any thoughts? Thanks!
