Hello all,

I have been following closely to this blog for a few months now. I have a question that I haven't seemed to find any answers to yet so I am hoping that someone here would be able to shed some light on my situation. So here goes nothing...

I have applied under FSW-Outland, AOR Dec.19, 2015. In my CIC account, I have 2 columns under my "submitted applications/profiles" section. One row with the "Express Entry" application type and the other with the "Permanent Residency" application type. Both rows had the status "submitted" as the status under the details column, however as of this past weekend my Express Entry application type now has a "Cancelled" status under the details column. Nothing else in my profile has changed. My application/profile status says it is still Open and my review is still in progress. I didn't receive any updated mails in my email either from CIC regarding this "Cancelled" status. Does anyone know why this happened or what this means? Have I been rejected? I am going insane trying to figure out what's going on..

Hello,

You are not alone. For some it says cancelled, for some it says not submitted. That express entry profile had only one purpose which was to invite a candidate. It does not solve any purpose after invitation, and you already applied for PR. Therefore CIC does not maintain the EE profile that efficiently. Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Canada has been very good to me... I just received my PPR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was kind of different from what i have read here because i received an email directly from the embassy of canada in mexico wich is my visa office. I also received a message on my MYCIC account with the PPR and there is placeholder for me to upload my passport. Right now i am not thinking clearly... I am so happy...

My background is still no needed at this thime... it has always been like that...

OH MY GOD!

Congrats, I'm very happy for you and to all who got their PPRs. I pray also for my fellow applicants to get their PPRs very soon. ;)

Congratulations!!! ;D Such great news! And this is also hopeful news for those of us stuck in "BG not needed"! Good luck to you on the next phase of this journey!

Hello dear comrades. My background check has been updated to "in progress" yesterday although I did not get email. AOR 21 December, submitted schedule 4 and 4a on January 12.

I do have a few questions for experts here however. I am a PNP-CEC applicant but I am currently on a restoration status and still waiting for my work permit restoration. Also, I only have $3,800 in my POF. looking at my situation, what are the chances CIC Officer will refuse my application?

Please kindly help.

Cheers

Hello,

If you were invited under CEC and/or you are employed in Canada, you should be fine. POF is meant more for outland people who do not have a job offer in Canada. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your help! I hope you'll get your PR soon!

Best wishes,

Does anyone know that what days in a week PPR come for inland applicants?
Is it Wednesdays and Fridays ?

My CIC is down again, looks like I am not the only one who keeps checking the status so frequently. ;D

Hi,

I don't think they have any fixed days to send PPRs. I believe CIC sends PPRs on an on-going basis on VO's recommendation.

Cheers!
