Hi,

Long story made short: I had been receiving ITAs since June and had to reject them waiting for the PNP nomination. About a week after my work permit expired (and had to stop working) I received the PNP nomination. During that week, the holding company to which my until then company belonged to froze new hirings. I had to come back to my country (didn't have enough funds to remain in BC as a tourist).

Medical: August (aprox.)
Background check requested: October (2nd half)
Last ITA: End of October
Application submitted: Dec.10,205
AOR: Dec.10,205

no news since then...

Good luck to everybody..

I think if you had applied for 1st ITA, you'd get open work permit after expiry for your work permit and PR filed prior.

yeah even i was thinking on that line.

I agree hard to put a correct date on it. I have read about notes after four months with no info on them and other after a month or so with details contained. you only have your own money to lose if you do it early!

You're not violating anything, you can order your notes by authorising somebody in Canada to order them on your behalf via the AIA (Access to Information Act) by signing a consent form. There are services for that on the Web, gcmsnow.com is one example.
But you're not likely to see any progress after only two months. The general consesus is that it's better to wait for at least three months. Though with current processing times I'd say you're more likely to see anything insteresting there after four months.

Have you used those services? Pls recommend one if you can. Thanks

Yes but with some getting PPR is 2-3 months, he just might see some useful info.
True, but the probability is low. And, if he is getting his PPR in 3 months (i.e., a month from now), he should see some movement, at least a ghost email, on his application in a week or two. If there is none - alas, it's likely he won't be one of the unusually fast PPRers.

Exactly - so it's your decision to order them or not, you're only risking those 25$

I've just ordered my notes two days ago, from the website I mentioned - so I can't tell which one is better yet, sorry.

Not sure why not, but my lawyer told me it was not the case in my situation :(
Whatever it's done it's done and now I just have to look forward...
