So what CIC just gave a couple of Decemberians PPR and kept the rest of us waiting :

I'm not sure if many persons outside of "Immigration" really knows the inner workings of CIC as it pertains to Express Entry, and there are a pletora of theories floating around, but my theory is that some amount of processing is handled by local visa offices around the World and they are involved/engaged long before our passports are requested.

It is quite possible that VO's with lower workloads relative to other regions of the World, maybe be able to process applications much faster than others, especially in places with low populations such as Trinidad.

It may be observed that some persons may receive PPR from VO's outside of their regions. It could be that they do load balancing. Again, this is just my theory, my opinion.

I just got a notification from CIC that the form IMM5476 must be submitted within 7 days. Does it mean that my representative didn't submit this form at the first place? Or it is standard to require this form during the review process.

The e-APR cannot be submitted until you complete the use of a representative form. So, it was submitted. Sometimes CIC likes to ask for this info again, so that they have it on record with your signature.

Does anyone know if CIC responds back when you submit a document through CSE tool? I sent them a document on February 3rd and haven't heard anything back (except for an auto-generated email).

I thought I would receive a response once they attach the document to my application. Is that normal that they really take about 30 days to respond?

I received a response that they received and attached the document to my application. It happened about two weeks after I submitted CSE.

I have applied the RCMP CRIMINAL RECORD at local police office(Vancouver) on Jan/25, till now, I still didn't get it from Ottawa. Almost 3 weeks passed. Does anyone know how can I check with this issue? Thanks in advance.

Call your local RCMP to find out whats happening, one of my friend didn't get it for 3 weeks either and when he called back he found out that it was mailed to a wrong address and then they resent it again from Ottawa.

Same here. I sent document via CSE on January 27 and received a response back yesterday (exact two weeks) saying they've attached the documents to my application.

Call your local RCMP to find out whats happening, one of my friend didn't get it for 3 weeks either and when he called back he found out that it was mailed to a wrong address and then they resent it again from Ottawa.

I called Local RCMP. They said asked me to just wait... they said they can not check the status for me...
