AOR in December 2015 - Let's get together

woke up to CIC update email but just checked MyCIC , nothing has changed. Strange

Changes in "MyCIC" will come within next 24 hours.
It's comon for many applicants here.

I submitted my application on 18th dec. Got AOR the same day but my medical status has not yet been changed. Is it normal guys ?
I asked my doctor and he said everything is normal and they already uploaded the medical. I am a PNP inland applicant

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from the sheet it seems CEC guys have their BG check go in progress really quick.
While for others the BG check goes in process closer to the end of the process?

Congrats for the nomination. Yes, it can take upto 48 hrs. Dont worry, it will be done soon.

I agree with Darklord.

Just, review the information you provided earlier and start preparing your documents.
PS: Don't reserve an appointment for medicals check till getting an ITA.

In my opinion it is clear that most CEC applicants have the fastest processing time. That is why it's not a surprise that CEC applicants BG statuses are "In process", while FSW and PNP applicants have "Not needed at this time" / "Not started".

At the same time I wouldn't pay too much attention to the statuses in MyCIC, because they are very unpredictable. Some people here on the forum are waiting for 6 months for PPR with BG "In Process", when BG status of others has changed from "Not needed at this time" / "Not started" to the "In process" only one day before PPR.

I am a bit confused about the Passport/Travel Document form to upload for Express Entry.

The have added the word Multiple in brackets. What do they mean by this? I assume it only means passport, right?

The information page gives the below message
You must provide a clear, legible copy of your valid passport or travel document bio data page.

If using your passport, include a copy of the page that shows your birth date, country of origin, etc.

Your travel document must show proof of status (citizenship or residency), as well as photo identification. Your travel document must be issued by a government and include your name, photo, date of birth, document number, and the issue and expiry dates, if applicable. A travel document is used only by individuals who cannot obtain a passport.

So I assume I must only upload my passport, with all the bio pages?

Yes, passport is what the CIC people are looking for so please upload that. It has been a debatable topic to upload all the pages of your passport or only the pages with bio, stampings etc. Better to be safe (in terms of saving time) and upload all the pages of your passport.
