So far, I received similar emails after getting an AOR and getting my medicals passed. In addition, October and November applicants state that they receive emails from CIC once any change has been done to their applications.

Hey all, my medicals are showing as passed now, relieved!

Strange that the BG Check didn't change from 'Not Started' to 'In Progress', something to worry about? I also didn't receive any 'update mail' from CIC when I passed my medicals.

While I uploaded my Schedule 4 and 4A, I noticed that my Background Check has become "Not Started" from "Not needed at this time".

Wow, is it 'Not needed at this time' initially? Coz mine shows 'Not Started' post passing my Meds.

Yes. Initial status is Not Needed. It makes sense to take a screenshot of this section whenever a status change happens, just to be able to compare and notice what has changed.

woke up to CIC update email but just checked MyCIC , nothing has changed. Strange
