Hi everyone,

Another PPR today, Dec 24th.

Same message: " The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to ...." (why if applicable, haven't they already decided?)


I am FSW inland applicant on a work permit; AOR Aug 20th.

Just to clarify with those who discussed if passport should be sent.
My immigration lawyer advised not to send it since I have a valid TRV (temporary resident visa). Just to include a copy and letter explaining it.

If anyone can help with --- what do the passport amendments stand for? Stamped pages or what?
("You will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments")

Second Application - ITA AUG 20. SUBMITTED - 21st August
AOR -medical pass - BG in process - 22nd AUGUST
Sent a CSE to CIC providing additional information regarding POFs - December 17th
PPR - December 24th

Inland FSW - NO LIMA/NO PNP - working on PGWP

Quick questions to seniors - I did visit 2 countries between August 22nd and Dec 24th, Do i need to send Schedule A ? CIC has not asked for it in PPR email.

Eligible under both FSW and CEC. Invitation received under FSW
FSW(Inland) - 516 points
ITA Received - June 12th
Medicals done - mid July
Date submitted - Aug 10th
AOR - Aug 10th
Medicals passed - Aug 19th
BGC In Progress - August end/September start
PPR - Dec 24th

PPR..Aug 24??? that must be dec 24..i guess...congrax anyway..i dont think we need to provide proof of visits that happen during pr processing..

I have a question for all Senior members here. As an applicant under FSW (Inland), my visa office is CPC-Ottawa. And as luck would have it, I will be travelling outside Canada for the next 30 days (the time in which I am supposed to send my PP for COPR to my visa office). Is there a way that I can get the COPR from another visa office (CHC New Delhi, India) while I am in that country. Will the other visa office have enough authority to provide me with COPR even though they don't have my file?

Any precedents of such a scenario?

When was your AOR ? Accordingly, I can advise you whether you have to renew your Passport or not.

We can send details to CIC through CSE (Case Specific Enquiry). CSE is mainly used to send any documents or explanations to CIC after you have submitted your PR application. Please check the following link of CSE for your reference.

My AOR was on 12th September. I don;t see much happening before Jan i guess. and my passport will expire on 27th June 2016.

Our bg has not been started .. Guys who pprs all ate with bg in process so i think we all have to wait until pur bg change to in process its so frustrating that how they working on files i don't understand ...
