AOR in August 2015

Hi All,

I received ITA -17 July . I did medicals on July 22 and they sent on 27 July . I submitted my application on August 6 . I didnt receive any update like medicals received /passed. Is there anyone same category ? Any advice?

Unfortunatelly, all you can do right now is wait. Each application follows its own path, some taking a little longer to be updated compared to others.

Yes. I have done that. In my case, my passport document was replaced by LOE due to some technical glitch in CIC site. I reported that via CSE with passport and LOE attached. 2 days after I got reply from them and they told me that they have attached those documents to my application. So at least for me, it worked.

I remember that the uploaded documents couldn't be checked any more once the uploading is done...

several of us are on that same boat.. i personally got the ITA on July 17th... did medicals on July 28th... submitted my application on the evening of August 10th.. still waiting as well! Some people have their medicals pass in 1-3 days... some 1-3 weeks... we'll have to wait it out, i guess! :

We submitted everything on August 8th. Medicals passed and eligibility and background check in progress. We live and work in Canada and have a dual intent Lmia.

i got my medicals passed in 2 weeks.. thats what it essentially takes to pass.
i was in the same boatlast week.
and now i am panicked about my background check.

Why would you be panicked about a BG check?

How is the background check performed anyway? What do they exactly do?

I saw a link that said if the documents are right and appropriate, they would simply proceed with criminal back ground check and further procsess the documents but if the docs are not perfect or create a reasonable doubt, they can call your employer to verfiy everything.

So relieved to see someone whose medical reads visitor and still passed. I honestly don't know the difference since it's for same purpose. SMH CIC.

so sorry to hear that. What was the type of medical mentioned in your report? Actually that shouldn't matter since medical examination is same for all type of applicants. In my case, the type was mentioned as 'visitor' and my medicals got passed last week.
