Hey can u or anyone here plz tell me how to call them. And are they rude or OK when we call? I guess I read somewhere that outlanders can't call.

Just wanted to update you all.

Finally after waiting for 7 months and 2 days today I finally received the PPR a few minutes ago. While I am abundantly happy for my application being finalized, I wish the people waiting for the PPR also receive the news soon.

I will be here on the forum and will try to help anyone who might need my help.

I will write a longer post in a new thread with all the details and my analysis and tools to help you all.

Thanks you all for supporting me and I will continue to stand with you.

I called. She was nice. Looked into file and said everything looks fine but she said she can't tell when they will communicate with me next.
So technically she told nothing. I have to travel by the end of next month. That is what is making me anxious. I have a course coming up. Not able to decide if I pay the fee or not.
Hence waiting continues.

instal fongo world application to a smartphone, it will give you a canadian phone number and you can call CIC for free.
this is their number: 8882422100

they are not rude, but some of them are unhelpful

This is what i got today from cic, i think everyone get same message from them

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

And yelena, what is the procedure to extened medical's, as i think i need to do that too .

I got the same answer from CIC! One month ago...

Nothing heard from CIC in months, if I don't count GCMS notes & 2 phone calls I've placed in February & March.
I can see that some of us are still struggling.

I logged in a few minutes ago. It worked for me and the CIC usually announces on their twitter account that the website if down, but I don't see any such update.

And the first thing which comes to my mind is a deep gratitude and thankfulness to all forum members especially Asvid , sherif and yelena. .......... Yelena I'm praying for you. And my gut feeling says u are close to end. I feel maximum 2 weeks for you. Good luck.

It is so overwhelming in every way.

Ok coming to the point ......the email I got does not have address where passport is to be sent. In short those who have sent passport to New Delhi plz guide me. Where is VFS office in Punjab ??
Plz guide me for these final steps.
