I can smell a backlog is building up in EE now.. Life is intolerable for cic without backlog

There's always a backlog, but now it grows. 1 month 2 weeks since last PPR batch for FSW. All July FSW inland applicants are still waiting for DM/PPR.

Thanks for the support. Some CECs and PNPs got theirs PPRs a couple of months ago, but most FSWs are still waiting. As per our spreadsheet, only 17 PPR out of 150 August applicants, so something around 10%.

Got an extra line in ECAS around 10th Oct
Nothing after that... not even BG in progress

Yeah the fact that your BG hasn't started yet isn't the best thing in the world.. Let's hope that some CIC agents are a little clumsy and forget to select "In progress" from the drop down menu of Background check, after a background check has been actually started (mistakes do happen). I really hope you'll get good news very soon. Try to order GCMS notes as soon as possible so that you know where you stand with you application. What is your country of residence by the way?

I agree with you tomneversfield...Even I am in the same situation since I paid RPRF on 26th Sept no updates at all so ordered my GCMS through https://gcmsnotes.ca/ on Saturday and uploaded the consent form on Sunday but i have not received the Tracking ID yet , just worried

I received an email saying "Your application(E0********) has been updated" on Dec 1st, 2105 at 1:25 PM Eastern Time but nothing after that. In fact, I cannot log in to either ECAS or MyCic for the past few days. My timeline and details are as follows:

ITA - June 12th
Category - FSW Inland (516 points)
AOR - Aug 10th
Meds Passed - Aug 20th
ECAS In Progess - Aug 20th
BG Chk in Progess - Aug 20th
RPRF paid upfront
No additional documents requested yet

Hey aru_nj.. i'm curious, does an RCMP request indicate that DM is close? I'm not an inland FSW and I've never lived in Canada for more than 6 months so I don't know anything about RCMP's. I'm hoping an RCMP indicates an impending DM, and will hence mean that we as a group will start getting some movement here and there.

Boske had simmilar case. He got PP letter together with the request to pay RPRF and deliver both payment proof and passports to his local VO. So, cases like these are possible.
