Background check changed from "Not needed at this time" to "In Progress" this morning. ;D

AOR - April 7, 2016

Good luck to everyone waiting on their applications! :) :)

AOR April 17

Just received my GCMS notes

Medical/Criminality: Passed

Eligibility: Recommended Passed.

Anyone has any idea how it is different from Passed? Is there more review required on my file?

Category: BCPNP+FSW inland (no LMIA)
AOR: April 29, 2016
Meds passed: May 11, 2016
Schedule 4 request: May 11, 2016
Bckgrnd check In progress: May 11, 2016
Add. doc request: June 6, 2016 (spouse schedule A & PA-PCC as I attached an LOE earlier)
Bckgrnd check not needed at this time: July 3, 2016
Bckgrnd check In progress since: July 12, 2016

Not sure what's going on. Apparently, inland applications are processed very slow.

It means Eligibility is Passed according to case Analyst.basically it is same as Passed. I am seeing RPRF fees to be requested in additional notes so i guess everything is clear.

Thats awesome. You can expect PPR within 30 days now.

Keep a close watch on March AOR thread. CIC is going by AOR date these days. I have been following Feb AOR thread very closely.

Hey there all good people,

As the time is approaching am getting more and more anxious!

Our status is as follows (Is there anyone with similar status)

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

Received AOR on 7th April
Received Schedule A on 12th April - and submitted within 7 days.
Order GCMS just a week back.

I am really worried as we got rejected from Schengen VISA once. Apparently the counselor thought we do not have sufficient fund!! Anyway, so we had to put "yes" to their question on if we have ever been rejected to a VISA. Though I explained clearly and not to mention it is just one visa among more than 10+ on our passports.

I need some consolation I suppose! All the plans are on hold! It is difficult to plan ahead if you are not clear of what is gonna come next!
