What is actually done in background check. do CIC do physical verification at the provided address history or something else.

They check your personal background (studies, work, family, travels...), and then your security background.
Yes they can do physical verification.

To raise CSE, I dont have file number or UCI, all I have is EE profile number where do I input my EE profile number.

Besides my name, DOB will EE profile number suffice.

Omg the only difference that i see is that my background is in progress. Why haven't they started yours then... I wish there was an instant way of knowing what exactly what is happening to our applications.

Though, I'm quite optimistic for PPR. I'm thinking some day in June.
My background check should not raise any concerns and be quickly dealt with.

Nope. It's tempting... but it takes so much time receiving those that it might be useless.
I'm confident with a fast processing of my application. Let's call it positive thinking

Maybe I'll review the ordering GCSM notes in a few weeks, but so far, I trust all will go according to plan.
