Nope.. I don't think so you are allowed to do any other job for any other employer other than the one stated in your work permit LEGALLY :) . They are very serious about it.
Yeah I guessed as much.. clearly no other option other than to be patient and keep waiting!

I just keep refreshing the page In a hope that someone will come with good news. :D
I think it's a dry Friday for PNP inland

Lets not lose hope until midnight (ET) lol, CIC loves to surprise us o_O

Hi, Mine aor is 9 Feb, but I am still in IP1, seems I am behind you even my aor is earlier than you.
Have you called cic before?
I'm not sure if I'm in "N/A" but look the screen of my application here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6xz3unz97uxg2pd/mine.jpg?dl=0
It seems like I was in IP1 only for about 3 days (before it changed to N/A again) which seems weird to me o_O

And yes, I have called CIC, told them it's incredibly slow for PNP Inland and they just told me to wait since my application hasn't exceeded 6 months

Its not weird, its just a bit unusual, even I had my IP1 changed to NA within 4 days only.

yes, cic always say that, within 6 month is normal, call back after 6 month blabla... did they tell you if you already passed the eligibility or not?

I called them about a month ago and at that time, I hadn't even had my medicals passed :(

Hi all ive been a silent reader of this thread. Im AOR jan 4 PNP Inland. I called cic yesterday, the agent confirmed that my application was complete and just waiting for finalization. She told me to wait for another 2 weeks.
Today i got an email saying..
"Your application is currently in the final processing queue awaiting finalization. Please note that nothing further is required from you at this time. Regrettably, we are unable to provide you with a timeframe, but rest assured we are doing what we can to process your application in a timely fashion."
I guess there really is a backlog at the final step of the process

And it took another 78 days after N/A to get IP2?? o_O Has anything changed in between? What do you think is the next step for me? IP2?
Yes it did take another 78 days after NA to get IP2, nothing in between, no requests and no changes.
You should get your IP2 next in 4-5 weeks at current pace.

I think CIC is processing PNP Inland application this way:
first they leave the application for 70-80 days (BG is NS/NN) then they start with Medicals passed (BG is in P1)
then they ask immediately for extra docs (if needed ) and they work on Criminality and then they ignore the application again for 70-90 (BG is NA and Security and Eligibility are not started yet )
then BG is back to IP2 and they work on security and eligibility and if the applicant is from a country with some red flags, they might take extra time and exceed the 6 months timeline.

I am still at NA since almost 70 days
