Hey do not do that, as if you will do , they will not refund your application fees. Why not you ask to IRCC Singapore through"IRCC Webform" ( https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Singapore&_ga=2.27109373.1146686397.1505107087-866119021.1502858429 ), You have right about to know progress of your application as well as your kids. As they have crossed application processing time for the country you applied from. At least you will come to know application is processing / progressing or not. Even they told me that they will start process my application on late fall, but as you know they have asked for additional documents to process my application, means they have already started visa processing for January 2018 intake.

Hey guys, any update from your side, I have received an email just now where it has mentioned "This refers to your application for temporary residence in Canada. Processing of your application has been completed at the High Commission of Canada in Singapore, and we now require your original passport in order to finalize your application. Please submit your passport within thirty (30) days of the date of this message. Please see attached instructions for how to submit your passport to our office." but still no update in my CIC account but that message attachment is there... all the best u guys.. nice to chat with u.
Hope your visa is approved then! I still have not received any updates thus far, which is ridiculous.

Iam on a open work permit from may 2016-janaury 20,2018 my husband is on a study permit then I got loa at nait start on winter from january 2018 to december 2019, I just got my approval today on CIC but the expiration is January 20,2018 same with the expiration of my previous work permit . can anyone help me what can I do .
Hey you are right, today I have received my passport with Visa and letter of introduction, and finally that long waiting time has over. Actually we can not do anything except waiting. Hope you will hear from them soon. Best of luck.
