Anyone got PPR who applied with 50 additional point + ICT + CEC Inland

Hi All ICT folks ,

Please share your inputs and status of your PR application here.

There are lots of ICT folks in Canada who have enough points and all the documents available but this "1 year of valid Job offer after getting your PR" statement is confusing them and because of that they are not submitting their application.

It would be great if we share our inputs which can help them to progress with their application. Share below details if possible

Current ICT work permit expiry date - 14-04-2018
ITA date - Dec 22nd 2016
AOR date - Feb 06, 2017
Med pass date - Mar 02nd, 2017
Current PR application status - BG in IP, Review of eligibility IP
Important doc to submit - Singapore PCC, waiting for CIC to send me the letter of request

One small advise. Please stop worrying about 50 points and try to share all your queries. I strongly believe, for every question there will be an answer. Help each other by sharing your thoughts and help yourself and others to reach to the destination (Becoming a permanent resident).

Agree , In your case you have submitted your application In Jan 2017 and your WP expiry in Feb 2018 that means you have almost one year of Job offer after getting PR (If consider average CIC PR processing time 3.5 months for CEC candidates).

Here I am trying to find the answer that if ICT candidate WP expiry date in next couple of months and if they would have submitted their application with 50 points then what happen to their application.

The "Important doc to submit" is the documents submitted from your end to claim the 50 points.. based on it, when your case progresses, it will help all to have appropriate steps taken. Can you kindly clarify what are the documents submitted from your end. Thanks.

sorry.. missing something.. the PPR date is in March and WP is expiring in Feb 2018.. so, is it not less than a year that he has?

One my colleague falls into this situation. He submitted his application on Mar 15. I'll keep you posted his update as and when I have.

Oh am sorry, got it wrong.

I submitted my WP copy (showing employer name)
Transfer offer letter (ICT)
Letter of employment which states that am working on regular full time position since May 2014 and all other details required
Copy of India Offer letter
and finally copy of the E-mail received for completion of no of years with my company. I completed 4-years in Feb, so kept as a proof that am still associated with my employer which is on WP.

Also, T4's, Notice of Assessment from CRA, Salary increment letters, latest Paystubs

Let me know if you need any additional details and I'll be happy to share.

For Offer of Employment submitted Docs

• Copy of offer of employment letter issued during work permit extension.
• Copy of counsel letter issued during my work permit extension (It contains NOC code).
• Copy of recent employment letter which contains my annual salary, NOC-2174, Job duties and working hours. - (I have shared template for this in previous post)
• Copy of salary change letters issued by my company for years 2016, 2015 & 2014 respectively


For Letter of Employment submitted Docs

• Copy of current employment (full-time) letter issue by HR - (I have shared template for this in previous post - duplicate as Offer of employment )
• Copy of appointment letter issued by my company
• Copy of secondment letter issued by my company while deputing to Canada.
• Copy of salary change letter for the year 2016, 2015 and 2014 respectively
• Copy of pay slip documents for the period November 2010 to till date. (All the pay stubs)
• Copy of my current work permit


For Present Employment Submitted Docs

• Copy of employment reference letters issued during my work permit extension. - (duplicate as Offer of employment)
• Copy of recent employment letter - (I have shared template for this in previous post - duplicate as Offer of employment )
• Copy of counsel letter issued during my work permit extension (It contains NOC code).

Yes , it is less then a year and that's why I have mentioned almost one year after getting your PR.

BTW , please share your friends application status once you have any update on that

Thanks for sharing you personal experience on this topic as I was also looking for some thread on this information for a while.

I am currently working in Canada from last one year on closed work permit under ICT (Intra Company Transfer) March 2016 - March 2017 and I have my work permit extension till Feb -2018. I am having all required documents with verification of employment that have my original hire date in home country along with Canadian hire date and also job type 'Permanent' with annual compensation and Role & Responsibilities.
On CIC website its mention that you need to have at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa and if that's not included in verification of employment but I am working full time on closed work permit will that be enough in terms of documentation to be accepted by immigration officer.
I have already created my express entry profile and scored 434 points under it and as per trend it seems cut off is again going up so I want to include above condition that will help to increase 50 points and better chances of getting ITA.

Looking forward for some advise.

I will suggest you to wait for a draw or two and see if you get an invite because it has and can drop to 434 real soon. If the score doesn't drop in a month then you can claim 50 points and get an ITA bec it might be little risky without 1 year after PR terms and also your WP is valid till Feb 2018 only.
