When you apply through VAC, they just ask for iqama, so I don't think they need it translated, but pls make sure of this. Applying online, i don't think they even need the iqama, but it is always helpful to put stuff in to make your application better.

I applied for my study permit on May 25 through VAC in Saudi Arabia.

People applied from KSA, please share your application time and status.

Applied on 20 may, got my offer a week ago.

They dint ask for translation of iqama, only copy.
