Wala naman po ako habol sa rating, habol ko lang is makatulong and good karma, but like any other place, like synder said, may haters nga.

Lcube, proof of funds is usually 1st year of tuition plus the expected living expenses/allowance (don't know how much they ask for right now) so if you paid part of your tuition then also present the resibo once you upload all documents na pang proof of funds and that will be counted towards it.

Synder, apart from the big 3, meron din sila small players sa mobile dito like freedom mobile, virgin, fido, etc.. mas mura na tapos may discount pa pag student. They don't usually say it so ikaw ang hihini and ibibigay naman nila. You already know this but other probably don't: dito both sending and recieving calls/text are charged ;D

Ganyan talaga bro thats all we can do. Sharing the knowledge and so on. Parang gusto ko nga gumawa ng post based on sa lahat ng nalaman ko plus lahat ng sinabi nyo etc eg how to make an SOP and etc. But then duty is life ako right now so pag pa march na or pag nasa Canada na.

Yeah sadly that is true! Pero i asked my mom na to buy a sim sa sunod nyang lipad sa Vancouver para ma try namin ung 7/11 Speakout. For someone na d pala text parang sulit sya for me and I can just add data as I need it. That is true though I heard a lot of things about how sa Canada if you dont push the right buttons you will get ridiculous prices for everything.

I am actually so excited na, I bought my ticket for April 30. Started looking for a place to stay in Ottawa and hopefully soon start buying the "essentials"

Micmic update us about your pr journey ah! Wishing you the best sa frontier mo.

Allocate funds for a car (mura bmw dito! nasa mga 35k lang ang 3 series sedan compared sa pinas and it is wrth every cent!), and winter clothes. Prices here vary depending on season.

Goodluck on your journey! Basta smile lang sa point of enrty and you will be good ;D

Thank you mic-mic! haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate... so wag mo kami iwan! haha! :) You're really very helpful! Ganon n nga gagawin ko, i'll pay the tuition and include the receipt para makapag lodge ng application mas maaga.

Anybody here applied/applying from Singapore? Can you share your experience? Gusto ko sana mag VFS kaso ang hirap mag-file ng leave to submit documents, office hours din kasi work ko. Is there a big difference? Or same lang pag online application?

Why dont you do an online application. Mine was so straight forward, tas make a very good SOP.

Thanks Synder! I will consider that. Tama, i need to work on my SOP. I have been working out of PH for almost 10 years, tapos kasama ko pa husband ko sa application kaya dapat talaga pag-isipan mabuti kung pano ko establish ang home ties. Will it help if I get guarantee letter from my boss here in SG? Or dapat related lang sa home country?

Ideally kasi what the VO wants to establish is hindi ka mag ooverstay sa Canada even though they know 9/10 people who study aim to stay after. If you can establish that easier at home or sa SG try that. I was reading that some people ask for letters saying that they are guaranteed employment after they study (is this what your SG employer is suggesting).

Ang problem mo kasi if you dont have properties, big sums of money, and you are traveling pa with your husband is that you wont have "motivation to return". Part of the reason na super higpit na is madami kasing nag take advantage and nag TNT cause of the lenient immig system daw dati in the 90's.

If you could provide reasons to return to the Philippines or sg regularly that may help as well.

Thanks!

Hi guys!

May mga questions lang po,

1. Kung magpapmed upront po, is it fine if go directly na sa accredited hospital?
As long as mapakita sa iprepresent pong pera from the bank?

Hehe

Synder, Congrats sa approved visa!

mic-mic, you're one of the people who helped us here a lot! :D

I literally just went to St Lukes Extension Clinic sa Ermita then boom walked out with my upfront medical.

I did not pay my fees either :) I only paid my 2500 fee for my intro to canadian health course and thats about it.

Makukuha ba agad yung medical? I read in this thread also na 7k-10k yung cost ng medical?

Gumagawa pa ako ng strong SOP. Haha good to go ka na talaga Synder. :)
