Hello just backread nlng dito sa forum para me nabasa akong sabay cila ng pamilya nya..but the chances are medyo mababa...better po na ikaw muna mag apply kasi para na rin ung serve as strong ties outside canada na rin ung husband and kids mo lalo na if medyo d karamihan ang ties mo outside canada. Meron pong sucessful dito na mag asawa sabay cila pero i think marami cilang properties and strong ung ties nila outside canada..ill be lodging my application next week ganun din gawin ko ako muna first mag apply then if my visa will be approved tsaka na sunod c hubby ko.

Hello, kame ng apply as a family and still nasa waiting game. Sana isa kameng positibong example pag labas ng visa at approved lahat (God's will). Will keep you posted sa status ng application namin.

Hi! Bago lang po ako sa site na to and i want to ask sa mga nauna na apply for study visa. I'm planning to enroll sa tlc-edmonton ng caregiver course nila which is seven months lang and $5,500CAD tuition for the duration of the course. Wala kasi ako masyadong pera. Nag email ako sa school to inquire about my intentions and told them I'm from the Philippines and they responded quickly and gave me instructions and the requirements. They also informed me that since they opened wla pa daw na approved na students from the Phils dahil daw siguro mahigpit and processing. So medyo natakot ako na sumugal. And question ko pa is if ever na mag enroll ako eh yung bank acc ko sakto lang sa pang tuition ko pero willing magsupport ang relatives ko kya lang nsa US sila. Ok lang kya yun kahit yung suppert eh manggagaling sa US? Please help me or bka may ma-suggest kayu na school na mura lang tuition na high yung rate na ma-grant yung visa ko. Gustu ko lang talaga pumunta sa canada eh and i guess student visa will be my best option. My parents are both in the US pero dpa sila stable kase kakadating lang nila dun kya bka tita ko magsupport ng fundings ko. Thank you and i hope you guys can help me.

Hi! Welcome!!

I'll try my best to answer some of your questions. But before that, I'd like to ask your intention of going to Canada. If it is to do a course that will eventually lead to a working visa and staying in Canada after your studies, I don't think the 7month caregiver course qualifies you for a postgraduate work permit. It states in the CIC website that you are only eligible for the PGWP if you completed a program of study that lasted for at least 8 months. Please refer to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-postgrad-who.asp

without a PGWP, you may only stay in Canada for the duration of your studies unless you receive a working visa (may employer na mag sponsor sayo which is mahirap din in itself, so you do need a postgraduate work permit to be able to work after finishing your course, pero depende din yun sa length of studies mo). I suggest you call up that school and ask them about this kasi baka mamya magbayad ka na tapos di pala eligible. Sayang pera mo, uuwi ka nyan after ng course mo unless makahanap ka ng magsponsor ng work visa mo at magawan ka ng visa before mag end yung validity ng study permit mo. (Note: seniors please correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes, your relatives may sponsor your studies in Canada. There is a list of requirements in the CIC website detailing the financial documents they need to provide, like bank account statements dating 3-6months back, income tax returns, payslips or business permits, etc. plus proof of your relationship, birth certs or kung ano man, and a letter or affidavit of support from them na sila talaga sasagot sa gastusin mo sa Canada.

Unfortunately, while the student visa route could be one of the easier ways to get to Canada, it is also one of the more expensive. I paid around 15k CAD for the 1 yr program I enrolled in. Tapos have to consider pa living expenses, school expenses. Etc. I don't know of any 1 yr courses that are not at around the 13k+ CAD range. So pag isipan mo maigi. This is a big investment!

Good luck!!! God bless and I pray for your success!!

Hello. I think as long as you've been accepted to a designated learning institution with proper documentation, yes. Depende po sa school if they will accept undergrads sa course na pinili mo. To be sure, please visit the CIC website and answer their questionnaire to check if you're eligible for a study permit. Good luck!!!

@mymostcreativename

Oic! Thank you so much for ansering my questions. So if I'll take up 8 month course I will be qualified for the PGWP, am I correct? Yung show money ko ok lang ba na di ganun kalaki kase indicate ko naman dun na magsponsor nga ang tita ko na nasa US? Talagang stepping stone ko lang yung studies pero balak ko talaga na magstay na dun after.
