Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

They advised me to fix my dads ITR daw then get work experience and reapply for May2016intake nlg para refresh daw ung system. Ok lang sana kapag about sa work experience pero ang ITR, parang complicated. They also discouraged me to reapply sa Canada ulit if i will do nothing about the ITR, indian kasi ung counselor ko, so parang pinipilit talaga ITR mandatory daw. Refund ko nlg daw tuition or apply nlg to their New zealnd program. Yan ung options binigay nila sakin. Hay plano ko dn sana magreapply pero hindi ko sasabihin sa counselor lol pero takot na ako. Still contemplating if kukuha nlg ako NCLEx hehe

Ask Floje, halos parehas kayo ng concern sa ITR eh, I think he can help you with that matter. I think you can still apply for Canada.
Pwedeng pwede kang mag-apply without your counsellor - ask ka lang ng help dito.

Yup, nagka-problema ako sa ITR ko, maliit lang din yung dineclare ko. Ang ginawa ko, di na ako nagsubmit ng ITR. Nilakihan ko yung dineclare ko sa Monthly Percentage Tax Returns from January to April 2015, at yun lang inattach ko.

Hello ulit Oo na check ko na rin sa OMNI. May 5 yrs exp na ko pero di sya pasok para sa PGWP kaya ekis na sa list ko. Mukhang sa ibang province nalang muna ko mag take ng chances. Mostly september 2016 na ang intakes sa mga cities na gusto ko sa BC para sa health sciences. It's either mag wait nalang ako or lipat ng ibang province. Thank you talaga sa mga tao dito (lalo kay Scorpio ;D ) or else napasubo na ako sa mga short courses. Patience pala talaga kailangan dito ;D

Maiba lang, may medical doctors po ba dito or kakilala nyo na naging international student din? Anu kinuha nilang course? Dapat ba higher education lang like master's at PhD?

Sa case ko po is 1 yr lng and then after ko po to matapos kkuha ako ulit ng isang program for a year pero dapt daw both eligible ung program. Tama po ba? Pakicorrect or give me some ideas regarding on this. Thank you.

Hello elapar, I did not bother to submit any ITR of our businesses and just presented business registrations, respective bank certs and personal accounts. Baka kasi in your case, naisip ni VO na bakit maliit ITR tapos malaki shiw money? Any inconsistencies might be considered as a demerit in your application. Goodluck! Kaya mu yan!

I talked to a representative from Seneca before and asked about how taking two one-year programs will yield a three year work permit and she said that there shouod be no gap in between studies. I'm not really sure if this is certain so I opted for a two year program instead. Before you proceed, make sure that your prospective school is in the DLI list

1 year course is only eligible for 1 year PGWP
Walang definite answer sa 1 year + 1 year = 3 years PGWP. Merong nagsasabing oo daw, pero nasa judgment yan ng VO. Note CIC rules say that you will be given PGWP based on your last program so applicable lang siya sa last 1 year program mo. Pwede ang 1+1 kung post grad plus Masters ... pero kung parehong post grad, hindi talaga sigurado. I would not take such risk personally that's why I got a two year program na din.

Hi! Are you here in Vancouver as well? Oh di ako nagwork during school kasi hindi siya advisable for me. I have classes monday to friday 8:30-5:30 usually. Im taking 7 courses per term. Last term 8 courses. I am not sure with other schools kasi narinig ko dun sa iba usually 3days per week lang but i go to BCIT and sobrang condensed ng school load. I did full-time summer job though.

Nursing grad kdin po db? Basta if your transfering to other course make sure to have strong SOP. indicating the reasons for a shift of program and how can it help you back home.

Yup. That is correct. Kelangan you have strong reasons to study someyhing different. As for the schools, it depends on the province. Each province I think have a governmeny page that shows all the DLI schools.

Sa London, Ontario ako pero andito pa ko sa pinas, this Friday pa yung flight ko.
I see. Nagtanong-tanong din ako sa mga magiging kaklase ko sa program ko since may gumawa ng facebook group yung batch namin. Sabi nila, mahirap daw magtrabaho sa program namin. Kelangan daw kase gamitin yung vacant hours namin for studio time. Meron din namang seniors sa amin na kinaya din naman nilang magwork while under the same program. So, we'll see na lang siguro kung kakayanin ko ba mag work while studying. :-\

hi floje. nag backread ako and found out that you have a succesful story after the first rejection. got rejected last aug.12 and planning to relodge my application this week. hopefully makaabot pa. they put a lot of reasons on my first refusal letter. ive travelled asia and u.s and still travel history naka marked X din dun sa reasons. kaya hndi ko maintindihan bakit isang factor sa refusal ko un. so now i am asking for your opinions and comments. on how or what to do sa sop ko. btw, my first application is with my husband and son, now i am planning to eliminate their application, unahin ko muna sakin, kasi feeling ko yun ang nakasira sa application ko kasi they were thinking na i will not leave canada at end of my propose studies kasi bitbit ko na sila... and one more thing about show money, di ba its just for first year lang naman plus tuition fee? ty

Hi zai20! Sorry to hear about your refusal. Regarding travel history, sabihin mo na you've been around places in asia and the US and you've never violated any immigration laws from those countries. Yup, I think mas okay yan plan mo na ikaw muna para may strong ties ka since may asawa at anak ka na pala. Sa funds naman, tama, for the first year tuition and living expenses lang naman pero pinakita ko na lahat ng funds ko to make it sure. Funds ko was around 55K CAD. Reapply ka ulit ASAP! Best of luck!
