Kasi I plan to re-apply, but this time through online. How will I declare na may medical na ko, e wala naman binibigay na copy ung SLEC global nung med results diba?
Help naman pls.

@micmic

I hope you're right regarding my funds. :)

Best of luck to us! ;)

@bgcc

I'm not sure about it pero I think okay lang naman if you can justify it in your SOP kung saan galing yung pera.

@AAM1218

Sorry but I can not answer your question. Guys, lalo na yung mga nag reapply, please answer her query. :)

I now know what I did wrong with checking my application status... I didn't log in to MyCIC and just relied on checking my emails ;D

@bgcc, I think the spread of the influx of your funds is ok naman. As long as you have proof that you have access to the account. In my case, around half of my funds are exclusively under my wife's name but we made a letter stating that she fully support my studies... Her accounts kasi were made long before we got married :) It would be better also if your bank accounts are long existing na :)

@AAM, maybe it would be better if you applied by yourself muna? I recon some participants were also denied when they applied as a family then decided to apply the student first. Then once the study permit was secured, they applied for the dependents. :)

Kapit lang po tayo mga kababayan! Kaya natin ito! :)

^ To bgcc and AAM1218, I agree with micmic.

Haha! So what's your status na micmic?

Floje, it just says PASSED on the medicals section... Happy nako atleast may nangyayari sa application ko ;D Apparently, less than 10 minutes of visiting CIC, I got an email notifying me about the update... so back to waiting na naman ako... sleepless nights na naman! waaaahhh!!!

Yun! Congrats! Hehe!

Best of luck micmic! ;)

Yes, thats what I plan to do. Ako muna mag aapply mag isa.
Dilemma ko is paano ko idedeclare ung medical ko?
Baka kasi ipamedical ulit ako e. E kakatapos ko lang magpamedical last apr 7.

@ micmic: Still no passport, hoping for a miracle in May :'( Hindi uusog application ko until I have it huhu

Yeah, I would think ultimately dun mo lang malalaman sa point of entry. You can ask the immigration officer to clarify about the policy if nakasulat na di ka pwede mag-work. I would think they'll just walk you through the process of making a Case Specific Enquiry.

By definition yes, you are eligible and the rule can apply to you, but since hindi naman immigration officers ang Service Canada, they have to abide by the rules. If your permit says you can't work, then they can't issue you a SIN (without the CIC letter). If you really need one, ITN yung ibibigay sayo (Individual Tax Number, it's like a SIN for tax-filing purposes if you're unemployed).

I guess it's a good thing na rin since wala nang hassle to get a work permit but you may still have to get a letter haha You'll never know, baka naman allowed to work ang nakasulat sa SP mo :)

Hi!

Di ba you're asked what your UCI no. is in your visa application? Lagay mo na doon.
try asking aly911 or the other posters in this thread who had to reapply, saka research mo yung "upfront medical"

Thank you micmic, floje and scorpio :)

Kahit anong bank po ba pwede? :)

You're welcome bgcc. Yes, I think kahit anong bank naman pwede. :)

Thanks floje!

bgcc, it might be best if your certificates are coming from big banks as it is more credible in the eyes of some.

humdrumdum, I hope that CIC can coordinate with the SIN guys to make ammendments para less hassle for students :D

Just a though, since wala ako co-op... can one look for one during breaks? Or is this highly improbable? :D

^you're allowed to work full time during summer, part time during regular classes

Hi Scorpio! Would I still need the SIN for part time? And since we are allowed during breaks, no need na for SIN? Or do we need the SIN regardless? How about if we just work in-campus?
