Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Yes, I think its more convenient if you apply online coz you only need to scan the documents needed. Yun nga lang may 4mb max file size per document you submit whereas if you do paper application everything you want to include/attach in your application package pwede. CIC has this tool that assess if you are eligible to apply online you might wanna check this

may isa pa po akong tanong galing po kasi ako sa Alternative Learning School nung highschool so yun lang po talga ang records ko na napasa kasi un lang naman talaga. Pano po kaya yun? nabasa ko naman po na acceptable naman din po sya?

sorry pero wala ako idea sa ALS. better ask the school. if acceptable naman sa kanila and they give you an LOA then I think you're fine. Actually high school diploma ang minimum requirement ng colleges sa canada.

nagcheck po ako kung eligible kami mag apply for student saka OWP. okay naman po eligible kaso bakit po pag dating don sa husband ko hinihinggi na atleast
-my ticket pabalik ng home country?
-meron din naman pong purpose ng visit.

The panel physician told me its required, but i refused stating that I had mmr vaccine already. She told me to get a certification from the physician who administered it.

it's required but you can have yourself immunized before you leave for Canada. It's not compulsory sa medical exam.

vaccination against measles, mumps & rubella. that's just 1shot booster coz most of us has that when we were still infants.

Actually, did a search sa forum, wala naman daw specific requirements for MMR eh. Baka isa na naman eto na kaartehan sa atin hehe.

I told my aunt about the MMR vaccine requirement (she's a doctor) -- she laughed at sabi niya kapraningan daw nyan ng first world countries. Pag daw may measles sa US or what, isolate agad. Eh dito sa Pinas, we just let this run its course. And if you are aged like me (mid-30s or higher) chances are you don't have an MMR vaccine yet, because wala pa ang vaccine na yan at the time we were babies.

You might get asked daw at the POE, pero mostly wala daw. It's a good idea to get it still -- mahirap na rin magkasakit sa labas

im in my late 20s and my mom doesnt have my immunization record na. i think i'll buy the mmr vaccine directly from the sales rep so it would be cheaper and i'll ask one of my doctors to administer it to me and make a certificate that i had mmr vaccine already. para wala na reason maipit sa POE if ever.

sa cost ng med exam, i paid P5,950 sa Nationwide Health Davao. additional P1000 for mmr vaccine.
