Guys, sa mga nagpamedical, how do you know kung naforward na sa canadian embassy med results nyo?
Plan na kasi namin magpamedical bukas. Family kami. Will there be a notification via email that they recvd the med results already?

Hi there! I didn't get any email notification that they received my med result. when I checked mycic this afternoon it says "PASSED" in the med exam status. I dont know if it meant they received the result OR they received the result and i passed the med exam.

I think it means you passed the med exam. ;)

Hi po just read some old messages from this forum para pong mas madali mag apply online ng student visa ano?

Yes, I think its more convenient if you apply online coz you only need to scan the documents needed. Yun nga lang may 4mb max file size per document you submit whereas if you do paper application everything you want to include/attach in your application package pwede. CIC has this tool that assess if you are eligible to apply online http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/apply_online.asp?d=1&q=n you might wanna check this :)

One only po. And front lang. Just name the file with your surname and initials ng given name mu okay na po. That's what I did lang po. Hindi naman nila kinwestyon. Make sure na lang na you follow lang po the guidelines nila sa quality ng photo.

Hi banjiegirl.
May tanong ako nung nag apply ka ng student visa mo sinabay mo ba yung OWP ng husband mo?? Sabay din ba kayo umalis?? Tahnks po sa pag sagot

Congrats wondermom!

For me, online application is more convenient although it doesn't equate to better chances. Mas malaki din probability na you make a mistake. I checked mine almost ten times (excluding my wife's efforts in checking) and I think there were some things I might have missed out on :) Sa paperbased kasi, may taga check yata :)

So this is what I saw on St. Luke's website: Physical Examination, urinalysis, CXR, HIV, Syphilis. So does this mean I don't have to do fasting? Also, it says no appointment needed... so I'll just drop by? How long does this take? Sorry ang dami tanong, kinakabahan lang baka may injection:D

Agree that convenient application doesnt equate to better chances of visa approval, depende pa rin yun sa case natin.

No fasting needed, micmic. Meron isang tusok to get blood samples for HIV & VDRL, parang kagat lang ng isang ant.

With regards to the appointment thingy, give the clinic a call to confirm if appointment is really not necessary.

Thanks wondermom! I'm currently filling up the reg form for the medical and one portion (under Visa Application Information) asks for a contact person. Should I just put my wife's name and details on it? It is stated na pwede din naman na "N/A" nalang ilagay ko :)

Put your wife's details nalang :)

So I received another email from CIC saying that my application has been updated and I don't see any changes naman sa status ko... "OPEN" pa din naman...
Anybody else experienced this? it just says:

Open
We need your medical information
No additional documents required
no interview
no biometric
final decision NOT STARTED

Akala ko nga sasabihin na "Joke lang, hindi pa namin kelangan medical mo" :P

then these:

Open
PASSED
No additional documents required
no interview
no biometric
final decision NOT STARTED

Di ako maka relate sa inyo. >:(

Hahaha!
