It is possible but it will be very costly.

> costly? in what sense? just curious here..

1. Finding an employer is not easy. It will take time. So it means that you will have to stay in Canada for awhile. Meaning, you have to shell out money for your living expenses in Canada until you find a job or in your case find a school at the same time.

2. Most employers are looking for skilled workers who have at least 2 years of skilled work experience. In your case, you don't have any since you are a businessman, so finding an employer would be next to impossible.

what if......?
1. mu apply ug tourist visa then.... adto mangita ug school ug course...then if possible mangita pud employer?
or amnot libog oi... sounds like im desperate ani dah. sensya na
so ang question? possibly kaha ni? or mas lisud ni nga processo?

you will be exerting double effort kasi.

For tourist visas, you need to prove intent to return to the Philippines after your visa expires, which is basically the same thing you will do as a student. You will have to have enough money and a place to stay there while applying etc. Not familiar with the whole process and I don't know how easy it is to get a tourist visa compared to just getting a student visa directly.

Looking for an employer will be difficult because you have to find someone willing to give you an LMIA (no Canadian is fit to do your job, they have to advertise for x number of months to justify hiring you). Then, most probably you will have to return to the Philippines and wait before your work permit is granted (no guarantees pa!)

Hi can4gud! Just submitted the usual docs like bank accounts, letter of support, letter of intent, business permits and docs related to the business of parents.

they usually send out a medical request a day or two after you submitted your complete application.

plus, you have to show them your return ticket to prove na tourist lang talaga pakay mo. if they found out na you have your cv and other documents with you, baka hindi ka pa papapasukin.

i agree that its difficult to find an employer if you have no experience here.. especially ngayon na down ang economy. maraming naglalay off ngayon. more TFW with 2yrs of working experience, kinakabahan pa kasi hindi na ganun kadali makakuha ng LMIA. im not discouraging anyone, just saying what's happening here..
