Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

hi everyone
I had my medicals in Islamabad.CHC send me a furtherance medical request.when I went to my PP she told me that CHC wants culture report as my previous sputum report was clear.my chest xray was not clear they found dots on it but all of reports were clear if anybody can suggest that if again my report came clear but dots remain on xray then what ?will CHC consider it like a desease or its ok
.now I m so upset bcoz my uni ll not give me admission letter for may nd I m sure embassy ll ask me for may intake revised admission letter.
plz guys if someone is facing the same problem plz do let me know nd if someone had this experience plz do share it with me.

Hi. Advantage po ba or disadvantage pag merong sponsor na Canadian Citizen? Yung sister po kasi ng mom ko is a citizen and she will sponsor me, sa kanya rin ako titira.

What po documents na kailangan? Kailangan po ba ng letter of explanation kung bakit niya ako iispsonsor?

Ask ko lang po makaka apekto po ba ng visa application status if i will not pass my ielts and diploma through online application.? And ilang months po yung bank statement niyo na ipinasa? Another question po, i dont have any stamps in my passport because i dont have time to travel nung college since i just finished my studies in 2013 need ko pa po ba ilagay sa SOp na wala pa ako travel history because of this reason?

Im still waiting for my loa nag bayad na ako ng deposit of 1500 dollars last week pero until now wala pa silang email ni isa they just email the student's hand book sana by this week meron na sila maibigay na loa.

It depends on how you will express your intent whether having a Canadian Citizen as a sponsor will be an advantage or not. Many of our forum mates here have had sponsors like you. If you will back read in this forum(medyo mahabang basahin, but I suggest you do because you'll learn so much here..many questions you have will be answered someway or another), as far as I can remember, they provided an Affidavit of Support, copy of Canadian citizenship & bank statements of the said sponsor, all notarized.
You can also include in your letter or Statement of Purpose about your sponsor & mention you will stay with them during your study here in Canada.
Have you started your application yet? Are you doing online or paper-based? Good luck & always keep the faith!

Have you submitted your application? If you have your IELTS & Diploma, why not just include it then? I included everything pertinent during my application because I know it will support & make my case stronger. For example, Academic IELTS tells them you'll be able to communicate strongly in English, which is the medium of instruction in most Colleges & Universities here in Canada. Also, your diploma tells you achieved higher than is required(since they have Grade12 here) for admission to study in the Canadian College or University you have been admitted into.
But I've read here that others did not submit their transcript & diploma(correct me if I'm wrong) provided they include in their documents the LOA(maybe that covers their school stuff & so)..The most of us included everything & would recommend doing too!
On the stamps on your passport, I don't think you have to explain why you don't have any. Usually, it's just a proof that we lived or visited other countries but didn't stayed there illegally & don't practice having bad records in other places as well.

I just wanted to add to this: the Affidavit of Support has to be notarized and besides proof of funds (such as bank statements and pay slips), your sponsor also has to provide you with a Certificate of Employment to prove that they are regularly employed.

hi guys. i received a message from cic today. i applied online and they sent a request for my nbi clearance. who else tried this situation? how long till may passport request? my classes are january 5. accept ko na i will start late. but i'm afraid it will take TOO long.

hello waiting buddy! no news pa rin. you applied online also right? last message i received was december 29 asking for my nbi clearance. i already submitted it. im hoping may passport request na next tomorrow. hindi ako nag defer september sa school ko because they said i have to reapply so it means losing my seat and submitting a new application. school starts this monday (Jan 5 2015), charge na nng 50% sa tuition on that day so il risk nalang starting late kasi my school allowed it. talagang depressed na ako. d ko na alam what to do.
