Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

I dont think you can go directly sa embassy. Nasa letter nla ang mga places kung saan mo pwede isubmit ang passport. I submitted mine sa vfsglobal and they charged me P900+ for service fee and courier fee.

Question lang po, how long did it take for your visa to get stamped and your passport be ready for collection after you submitted your passport to the VAC? Thanks much

Sabi nila 3-5working days. Hindi ko pa nakukuha ang passport eh kc nung friday lng ako nagsubmit Sept intake ka rin ba?

There was a box included that says..

Permit Details:

Type: Permit - WP/ Permis - PT

Permit Validity (YYYY/MM/DD) : 2015/01/07

What does this mean? My classes will start on 01/07/2015 too.. Please guide me

Nope. It's just your visa validity. Maybe it's your visa expiry? When is your visa starting?

When is your class starting? If you still have time there's nothing to worry, probably just some delays. However if your class starts next month, i reckon you should call them.

If I'm not mistaken, WP stands for work permit right?

When is your class starting? If you still have time there's nothing to worry, probably just some delays. However if your class starts next month, i reckon you should call them.

I guess you have to find out what's happening with your application. Malapit n kasi sept 3. Wala ka bang updates with your application?

kaya nga eh.. actually, i went thru an agency and told them na until now wla pa akong update.. they just told me to wait lang muna.. im just wondering kasi when i backread, others already have their results. I applied last july 24 in cebu(consulate). Hopefully byy this week meron na.. thanks..

Hi dbc! Just a question about your entry. You mentioned kasi you went to Canada 2 months before start of classes. Ano ang nilagay nilang expiration ng SP mo? Were you still given 3 months after the end of classes na allowance? Or was the expiration exact to the end of your classes? Any instructions from the IO?

I was planning to go to Canada 2 months before as well kasi it wilk be my grandmother's death anniv. I wanna be there for that. But my agency told me kailangan daw 3 weeks before ako dumating or else baka pabalikin. (

We arrived a month before.. no questions asked at poe. Just tell them you will need time to adjust etc and prolly mention about your grandmothers death anniv

Im looking for PGWP eligible schools in BC that offers health related courses. I've looked into VCC, Sprott Shaw, Omni, ULI, Langara. All of them replied that they are not PGWP eligible except Langara.

Anyone here familiar with Langara College?

Would appreciate your inputs. Thanks in advance.

Langara has a pretty good reputation here. Go for it! Have you tried BCIT though?
