Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi everyone,

Anyone submitted their application online? I submitted last April 9 for SP. I have a question. Will it affect my application for SP because my family are PR and and they went ontario just last october 2012. But my mother is working there for 5years and was granted to be a PR last feb 2012.

Hi. We kinda have the same sitch since my whole family are PRs of Canada. And from what opinions I've got from the forum, it can go either way. The most important thing is you just have to prove strong ties to the Philippines. What's your profile and when are you starting school? What kind of docs did you submit online? I have yet to submit my application, too...

I having the support of my uncle who owns a corporation here in the Philippines and my parents in Ontario, Since all of them are PRs even my sisters. I have submitted all the necessary requirements from IMM forms down to Letter of Explanation. What about you? Have you submitted?

I also start on September 3rd, but in Sheridan. Haven't submitted yet, still taking my time in preparing the papers. I already got a tourist visa refusal last year because of weak country ties that's why we're getting a consultant based in Canada this time. Good luck to us!

Has anyone tried applying for a co-op work permit? My course includes a co-op but I start on Fall 2013 and the co-op will yet be on the Jan 2014 term. Should I apply for the co-op permit together with my study permit? Do they only need some sort of letter of endorsement from the school?

Yeah ako din eh kasi napapansin ko sa ibang members dati 8-9 days lang nakakatangap na ng med request. Through snail mail ba papadala ang CEM ng med request? Nga pla if I'm not wrong, sa hubby mo ba yung binalik ang docs after u sent?

good day senyo! tomorrow pickupin na mga documents ko, sana dapuan ng swerte. gusto ko sana humingi ng advice senyo kung anong chance ko mabigyan ng student visa? submit ko transcript, marriage cert, employment cert sa work ko before (staff nurse for 2.5 yrs), business permit, dti, bank cert (1.8M), OR/CR of 1 motorcycle and 1 delivery van. according to the help i hired di na nila isasama masteral ko kz wla pa transcript and yung another 2 delivery vans and 1 car kz nka loan pa sa bank. i will be travelling alone, iwan ang husband ko and 2 weeks 4 days kong baby boy...
