I also received my visa this afternoon, can't believe it! I thought refusal letter yung marereceive ko kanina, God is so good talaga..... Here's my timeline:

September 4 - filing of application to the canadian embassy
September 17 - request for additional docs
September 26 - emailed my reply letter to CEM
October 1 - grant of visa
October 4 - delivery of visa

As per my passport, I was granted a 3 years student visa. No interview and medical exam requested. Ang saya talaga!!!!

Ask lang po sa mga nasa Canada na, ano questions ask sa Port of Entry, worried pa din ako kc dun iissue and student permit.

I also received my visa this afternoon, can't believe it! I thought refusal letter yung marereceive ko kanina, God is so good talaga..... Here's my timeline:

September 4 - filing of application to the canadian embassy
September 17 - request for additional docs
September 26 - emailed my reply letter to CEM
October 1 - grant of visa
October 4 - delivery of visa

di ko nga din po alam, ang ineexpect ko talaga, medical request pero nung nakita ko makapal ung laman ng envelop, kala ko lang sinoli yung docs ko then my refusal letter na naka-attach,,,,,, then nakita ko yung passport nakabuka na may stamp na,,,, sinuwerte lang po talaga kaka-dream ko, hehe... :-*

Hi Kyle, thanks a lot!!! CGA ako sa BC. Di na nila ako nirequire ng medical exam e, nagtataka nga ako. Pero ok lang menos gastos saka annual naman din kaming may general check-up dito sa ofis.

Yeah, sunod na yang kay hubby mo for sure!!! Saan ang VIPM? Sa Port of Entry naman me kinakabahan, meron kaya narerefused dun?

ahh different school... pero atleast BC parin
hornby st vancouver ang VIPM shaja...
so im sure magkikita kita rin kayo.

i dont think my marerefused pa sa port of entry. very minimal docs
nalang naman ang need nila. school papers, LOA, letter coming from the embassy and your visa
ayon sa mga nababasa ko here, things are smooth naman sa entry.
wala pa ako nababasa na refused upon entry.
saka yung proof of funds pa pala, yung not kore than $10,000 cash or you can show manager's check

am sure mauuna kayo ni sopidopi mag land dun.
im on my 36th week of pregnancy na ngayon
i think it's GOD's silent move para magkita muna yung mag ama ko
before naman iwan niya kami. im due by the end of the month so no rush kami sa visa.
we are just praying so hard it will come on the right time...

Na-late ako sa pag-apply sa CEM at naghingi pa sila ng additional docs. So kanina nareceived ko pa lang medical request. Umabot sana. But there would be november intake naman di ba? Yung friend ko kasi for November intake. Pray lang tayo.

as far as i know kasi walang november intake ang vipm
intake depends on the school your attending

last time i was told na pag di tlga kaya
ihabol october intake then we will consider january... which is okay with us din naman
para longer time magkakasama before clp leaves

anyway, glad to know may isa pa kabatch clp sa vipm.
sana makahabol kayo october intake.
last option we are considering is to ask for an extension
kahit ma late na siya sa start of class... hahabol nalang.
masyado kasi matagal nationwide

i highly suggest go for st lukes
no need for appointment there, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS
lagi marami tao dun pero worth it kasi in as short as 5days time isusubmit na nila.
nationwide is 10years... 2-3weeks ang sabi nila,pero they can extend pa...
(thats accorfing to clp's case)

@Kyle: Yup sa VIPM din siya. Skeptical din ako na November daw siya. Sa study plan din daw niya kasi November nakasulat. Tas sabi ng consultant niya na mauuna raw lng ako ng 2 weeks if nauna ako. Ask ko mamaya yung sa LOA niya ano start of classes niya. Baka extension lang nga siguro. Late arrival.
