Thank you so much for your reply and your tips Lilliecutie...very much appreciated...God bless you in your journey to Canada.Hello Anyw, I'm not familiar with the statistics. But I believe it's worth giving that application a shot. After all, it's no longer uncommon for Filipino kids to pursue their college education abroad. I don't know anyone in particular who has traveled to Canada for college. I know a few though who went to college in the States and the UK. But I think it makes sense to choose Canada over those two other countries these days for the following reasons: 1) Canada's education is world class, and at par in terms of quality with that of the States and the UK; 2) It's a lot less expensive.
Your daughter might want to put emphasis on those two points when she writes her statement of purpose. In addition, make sure she explains why she has decided to take the program in North America, and how studying abroad would give her an edge over her competition when she comes back to the Philippines after graduation to pursue her career here. Hope this helps.
This is it!Forummates for sept2019 intake, ready na po kayo? Don't forget the "Before you arrive" preparation, checklist, and stuff. Anyone flying for Vancouver tomorrow? Baka magkasabay tayo. Thank you din sa mga quick responses, advice, and sharing of knowledge. You guys know who you are.

they did blood and urine exams, x-ray/s, physical exam conducted by the doctor. in my case they took two x-rays--1 chest and 1 back as the first one didn't look clear daw, and they wanted to rule out any medical conditions. the doctor did not proactively explain to me why there were two x-rays; i had to ask her why that was the case, and what the results were. i wanted to make sure i did not have problems in that area. kasi kahit walang problema, mapaparanoid ka dahil all over the clinic may mga nakapaskel na information about tuberculosis. haha! so kahit sa pagkakaalam ko okay naman baga ko, bigla akong napraning. the two conditions that Canada daw are very concerned about according to the licensed consultant i spoke with last year are tuberculosis and syphilis. And also. Matanong lng po ano po ung mga gagawin nila at titignan nila sa physical exam sa medical?
In may case. Na diagnosed ako ng ptb last year 2017. And nag undrgo ako ng 6 months medication walang absent. Ang successful lahat kahit sa xray. Clear. Kaso natatakot ako pag tinanong nila kung may past treatment ba ako.. meron na ako request for medical and biometrics.
