Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello po sa inyong lahat. may aask lang po sana ako regarding sa pag process ng FBI clearane certificate kasi nag stay ako sa US for a year. Dinownload ko po ung form then may ilang questions po ako.


1st, under,Applicant Home Address, ilalagay ko po ba yung address ko nung nasa US ako or yung andito po sa Pilipinas na po?

2nd, under mail results to address, what should i write in C/O and ATTN? (this is gonna be my first time to write a letter to someone so i have no idea how to do it.).
Also, ok lang po ba na ilagay ang address ko dito sa Pilipinas po or kailangan mag ask pa po ako ng kaibigan mula sa US then ipadeliver ko sa address niya dun?

3th, for the payment method, pwede po ba gamitin debit card? kasi mayron lang eh credit card so hindi ko po sure if pwede yun....

4th, sa labas ng letter po bali isusulat ko lang eh address lang ng sesendan ko d ba po? or mayron pa po ako ilalagay?

I think NBI wants the actual form from FBI to have your fingerprint impression. You’ll have to ask a relative/friend to go get them at a police station in the US & have it mailed to you here, unless you are currently in another country. Before nakapag request ako with the printed form lang with no hassle. When I tried to request this year, sobrang daming arte unlike before, and kapag hindi ka nurse hindi ka nila prioritize. They’ll also ask for ORI of the state you lived in as well. I suggest you try calling NBI or visit them first to know all details, kesa nandon ka na tapos mainis ka na lang. Hope this helps.

2. Sino ang mag-receive on the specified address you indicated? You don’t need to have it mailed in the US, you can directly address it here because you are paying for the courier as well.
3. Payment Im not so sure… but money order is accepted.
4. For any letter send through post, you have to put your address and the address of the office you are sending your request. And whenever you mail it, courier will need a phone number of the recipient.

I think sa payment okay lang naman kahit debit. Same lang naman sila halos ng credit card na may card number expiration and security code. Try mo muna through debit. Usually kasi accepted naman as long as visa, mastercard or something yan

Hi! I applied for a study permit together with my husband and 2 kids last June 14, 2017. I submitted via VFS Global/ Paper Application, up to now I have not heard from IRCC, I only got a confirmation email from VFS that my application has been forwarded to the Canadian Embassy last June 15. Is this normal not to have an update regarding my application? I submitted upfront medical exam too and gave all our passports. I'm a little bit anxious and scared. Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks!

Hi!! I also submitted via paper application. Actually, I think its a good thing you've not heard from them yet. They do not actually provide updates based on my experience unless they need additional documents. In my case I only linked my paper application after 4 weeks from submission to Manila VFS, that's how I learned my upfront medical was processed and I've already passed the medical exam. Then on the 5th week they emailed to ask for additional information and documents that was last June 30 then earlier today they informed me of the approval.

They do not actually provide updates based on my experience unless they need additional documents. In my case I only linked my paper application after 4 weeks from submission to Manila VFS, that's how I learned my upfront medical was processed and I've already passed the medical exam. Then on the 5th week they emailed to ask for additional information and documents that was last June 30 then earlier today they informed me of the approval.

I mailed it to VFS Manila last May 20 but because it was a weekend and May 22 was a holiday for them, they confirmed receipt of it only last May 23 then IRCC received it on May 24. They processed my documents for exactly 6 weeks
