I keep telling people that mauna muna sila para mas malakas ties specially sa mga taong weak ties kasi matagal ng wala sa pilipinas.
They still kept insisting na isama sa application para raw sabay sabay na sila.
Peej is a very good example why you should apply first and once you are already here then apply for your kids and spouse.

Andaya nung OWP application ng misis ko, 5days lang passed na agad medical niya, samantalang yung akin noon inabot ng 11weeks

I have no answer as of yet since I'm also waiting when Peej's wife would be approve.
If I will make a guess, it will be a visitors visa.
Visitor's visa from the Philippines, based on the website, will take around 11 days.

Ska pde kaya sakali student muna the pag approved na spouse at kid
Or student plus owp then pag approved sla both i apply naman ung kid?

Ako nagpa MMRV vaccine, para sure at walang sakit ng ulo sa immigration just incase masita ako, for peace of mind lang hehe.

Pwede mo iapply agad kapag naapprove na SP mo, wala naman ako nabasang time period na pwede magapply ang spouse and kids

Yung sa misis ko natagalan lang magapply kasi sa sched ng work niya mahirap isingit magayos ng papers niya and appointments.

Mahaba habang patience lang talaga. Mas ok na yung maiwan muna ang family mo kesa naman sabay sabay nga kayo nagapply, sabay sabay din kayo mareject, mahal pa man din ng application fee. Atleast pag approve ka na, may sure ng nakapasok ng canada, anytime pwede mo na kunin family mo, e kung minalas onte wait nalang ng PR then kunin mo family mo.

We applied for my wife and son the next day I got my visa. Open work for wife and dependent TRV for my son. Process took over a month. For those asking via PM, since ang dami, here are my answers:

1. I only paid the school application fee when I applied kasi gusto ko hawak ko na si visa bago pa ako mag bayad ng reservation or tuition fee

2. I did not submit any resume but I did put my reasons for studying in the SOP

3. MMR is forced unto you but I've never heard of people being asked on the border about it. Pero risk mo ba para lang makatipid ka ng 2k? It was recognized though when we updated the vaccines of our son here

4. You don't have to be in Canada to apply for your partner's OWP. Basta approved ka na, pwede na apply

5. Pasensya na po, nasa pinas na laptop yung SOP ko and nanakaw po yung laptop na yun kaya wala po ako maipakita. It contains very personal information din po pero during my time, I just googled a sample but made my own. It's just a simple letter explaining something that you feel needs further explanation sa application ninyo.

6. Wife did not submit any resume or whatever, just a proof na approved na ako and an SOP which includes proof of funds

3days lang pala medical ng wife ko, submit ng application 4-21 naging pasado nung 4-24. Andaya talaga haha..

Oo nga, 2k for the peace of mind, lalo ngayon summer sa atin, uso mga virus na yan madala mo pa sa ca hehe. If gusto talaga magtipid, hanapin ang vaccination record at dalhin hehe. Yung akin nga MMRV (varicella/chickenpox) vaccine pinainject ko 4k hehehe
