Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

hi

i tried to back-read in this forum..pero malayo layo pa ako matapos.. meron lng po ako questions same with you, I, together with my family are planning to migrate to Canada. Unfortunately, hindi ako pasok sa 67 pts for Permanent Residency. Im thinking to have student visa na lang.. pwede kaya? Im IT grad, pero hindi totally IT ung work ko. Im in a call ctr industry.. If ever nag student visa, can I bring along my husband and kids? meron po b kau marecommend na course - I have relatives in Ontario.. pro willing nmn ako kaht san sa Canada

Hello @Iambelle Food and Nutrition Management in Sask Polytechnic in Saskatoon this coming Fall intake pa..im still waiting for my police cleaeance dito sa bangkok before heading back to pinas para mag lodge ng application..i think ako lng ata saskatchewan dito sa forum the rest are toronto,vancouver and alberta...if anyone jan for saskatoon...PM me...para mecka berks nmn ako dun....

Hi. Do I need to apply for a separate student permit for my children if they will go with me and study there? They are 15 and 10 yrs old. Or pwede na yung trv?

my sister's from regina actually 5 minute walk daw kaya lang they do not offer Business so, Moose Jaw nga 2-hour bus ride though.. pero okay lang tyaga tyaga lang hehe kaksubmit ko palang ng application sa school~ on what stage kana? hehe

@canadiandreams got my LOA last year pa November. then right now ive got all my documents na(excited)lol...im just waiting for the right time mag lodge ng application. maybe sa mid-march or first week of april maybe mag up-front medical nlng muna ako while waiting, para direcho2x na..baka kasi ma-reject lng ako pag too early to apply for september intake sayang naman ung visa fee...good luck nlng sa atin.hoping for approval.

I also applied sa SASKPOLYTECH. Moose jaw campus din, business diploma. I submitted my application last year pa. The first time I applied kase, na waitlisted ako, dahil na late ako sa pag apply.

Yes, it is possible to apply for study permit. This also my pathway to applying for PR in the future
Yes, it is possible to bring your family (details in cic website)
The course is really upto you. Decide whether diploma, certificate, MA. But first, you need to choose a college or university designated by the government. Here is the link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp

I think I found the answer to my question from the cic website

"Minor children who are already in Canada accompanying a parent who is permitted to study or work may study in Canada without a study permit at the pre-school, primary and secondary levels."

Actually, i'm waiting for the result na lang. Last Nov pa ko nagsubmit, tapos nung december, pinagmedical na ko.
