Kung wala kang furtherance letter it means ok na ang meds mo, kaya wala talaga tayong choice kung hindi mag-antay. Yung "processing" status mo sa VFS hindi na yon magche-change unless your docs have been dispatched. Maayong gabii Scorpio! Mu agree mi sa imo. Kahit diploma and certificate na ang course na kukunin ko sana, 1.5 years lang ang duration kaya alangan na kami lalo marami ng sumuporta na mas maganda ang 2 yrs kahit pa medically related ang course namin. Mahirap na hehe.

di lang naman properties ang basehan ng home ties di ba? established naman ang family ni hubby sa pinas with regards to business and properties, ang buong family ko naman andito sa Saudi.

Actually, there's no specific formula to establish home ties or legitimacy of your being a student in Canada. Minsan may iba walang home ties sa Pinas at filed in other countries, approved naman. Yung iba naman kahit gaano kalaki ang proof of funds at filed dito, denied pa rin. What you can do is to show VO that you will NOT violate the terms of your student visa and if ever things don't work out there, babalik ka sa Pinas willingly. So combination yan ng properties and assets niyo, plus the likelihood that you will still be able to pick up your life when you come back to the Philippines. In this case, having a long working history helps. Explain nyo rin yung plans niyo sa SOP ninyo

yeah, kasama ang Saturday / Sunday sa week. Sana lumabas na ang decision mo before monthend. If you look at my timeline, usually 3-4 weeks lumabas ang approval. May iba pa nga dito mas maiksi ang approval period. Good luck!

Maryjo, since my wife is a teacher, required siya ng upfront medical but ended up getting the medical kasabay with our son since she already got the med request a day after her lodging of the application. A week after that, PASSED na yung status nila. So yung pinaka mimithi na passport request ang matagal. Akala ko pa naman less than a month may visa na sila Thank the good Lord for skype at I can still play hide and seek with my son hehe

Nag back read ako at sorry ngayon lng ngkaroon ng time na mag log in ulit! Hehe

Share ko muna POE experience ko:
Cebu: Sa check in counter hinanapan ako ng OEC, so sinabi ko na wala pa employer at sa border na i-issue ang work permit after check in, same din tinanong sa immigration at same din sinagot ko, so na hold ako sa office nila for about 30 mins. sa tingin ko hindi pa sila familiar sa Open Work Permit, just be ready with your POE letter. Sa GF ko at sister nya, tinanong lng kung anong program at saang school tapos ok na cla. To add sa nag tanong, hindi required ang PDOS for immigrant visa holders lang yun.

Vancouver POE: Na delay ng konti flight namin from Incheon Korea, 11:50am sana dating namin pero mga 12:30pm na ata yun, sobrang dami ng tao sa YVR pero moving at mabilis na man. Sabay kami 3 sa pag enter tapos sinabihan na claim yung bags wala na mn problema sa customs, tapos sa cashier na para ma process yung dineclare na more than $10K ang dinala. Sa immigration dito na inissue ang study & work permits namin, matagal din kami nag hintay kasi marami din kumuha ng permits, dahil nag mamadali na kami hindi na na check ang study permit ng sis ng GF ko, mali ang nka lagay na conditions (Not allowed to work etc., so kelangan ipa correct, na mail na kanina ang original study permit, wait na lng sa mail sa corrected permit) kinulang ang almost 4hrs na lay over namin kasi may domestic connecting flight pa kami.

So far naging busy sa pag dating, kuha ng SIN, punta sa school, kuha ng Alberta Health Insurane & ID, open ng bank account, familiarize sa bus routes for public transit etc.

Good luck sa mga mag aapply at sa mga naghihihtay ng mga results, try kong mag log-in at sumagot sa mga tanong na masasagot ko pang hindi masyadong busy, God Bless satin lahat!
