Hi sis!! Did you get your MMR vaccine done before you left? I just want to know if hinahanap sa POE yung certificate na you had it done. Will prolly get ours done next week.

Oh by the way guys, as per dbc.. may online promo si Cathay Pacific sa students going to Canada. Check their website. Sayang hindi ko na-avail kasi nakabili na kami ng ticket But to those who are still waiting for their stamped passports and haven't bought their tix yet, check out Cathay Pacific's website ;D

Got my MMr vac s SLEC din, sbi ok na daw un,nakasama na s package ng medical kung s SLEC din ang vac right after the ME.. d n need magdala ng certi..

NOPE. I didn't get vaccinated before coming here and they didn't ask about it at the POE. Hahaha! Hintayin ko nalang insurance ko para free na vaccination dito. Wala pa rin akong nakilala na tinanong sila sa POE.

NOPE. I didn't get vaccinated before coming here and they didn't ask about it at the POE. Hahaha! Hintayin ko nalang insurance ko para free na vaccination dito. Wala pa rin akong nakilala na tinanong sila sa POE.

Do you mind sharing where you availed your insurance? Or the insurance na kasama sa tuition fee yan? Did they also check how much money you're bringing in at POE?

Ask ko lang kung meron sa inyo nag try na mag pre medical check up while the application is with CIC? And kung meron din nag pre medical at sinama ang results along with the study permit application sa CIC?

Do you mind sharing where you availed your insurance? Or the insurance na kasama sa tuition fee yan? Did they also check how much money you're bringing in at POE?

Kasali na sa school yung insurance eh. It's a requirement before you get here kasi mahal nga ang healthcare dito. But after three months, students here in BC are eligible for MSP, ito yung medical insurance ng mga residents dito. May mga vaccines na covered by MSP so, hintayin ko nalang.

And nope, they didn't check the amount that I have on hand but don't exceed $10,000. Baka may plano ka magdala ng more. Hahaha! Also, I suggest bringing ALL the documents you submitted when you applied for the visa and study permit because they asked for my proof of financial capabilities and hindi natin alam kung ano pa hihingiin nila doon. What I did was I placed all of the documents inside a clear book so it's easier to find them. You might want to do that, too. =) Btw, dalawang IO ang titingin sa papers natin. Sa first IO, present your LOI and LOA. Tapos sasabihan ka na pumunta ka sa isang room to get your study/work permits. Sa second IO, bigay mo ulit LOI and LOA tapos may mga tanong na sila and they will ask for the other docs.

backread ka lang sa page108 of this forum... andun ung mga post ni guikegod1 regarding upfront medical... nagtanong tanong rin lang kasi ako sa kanya... plan ko rin mag upfront medical within this month... =)

Ang aga mo s Canada. When will your classes start? Saka what univ? It's good u got LOA immediately. Have you open a bank account?

Hi everyone! Update, I'm already here in Canada.. two weeks ago. Hindi ako nakapost dito kasi diretso ang pagsettle at pasukan na agad. Hahaha! I backread almost all the posts here and I am so happy with all the good news! Congrats @ dbc and family! I met a few people who came here 2 months before their classes. And finally, we could work part-time! Kahit mahirao maghanap ng trabaho, gagawan ko talaga ngparaan. Walang pili-pili. And what else can I say, for those who are stil waiting for their visas, have faith. It'll come in time.

And wag mag-alala kung natatagalan ang updates kasi sabi nila by batch ang pagbigay ng visa. Nauuna talaga ang mga malapit na ang pasukan. Anyway, heads up high!

hi,.. is that 2 months or is it 2 weeks before their classes, nagbabalak dn kasi kami ng 6 weeks early arrival kaso risky daw according to some seniors baka madeny sa POE, baka sasabihin daw na masyado maaga at balik na lng if malapit na pasokan.
