Feeling a little glum as I'm fairly certain that NO 2015 applicants have heard ANYTHING!! Immigration is still working on late 2014 applicants and feels so slow. I just hate the not knowing. I'm trying to plan my winter vacation, but should I even bother if magically my husband will be approved. Bah.. so annoying!
Sorry, I just need to vent.

I feel the same way!
I'm counting on my husband getting approved anyday now.. We are December applicants and we received that email end of May that they will contact us within 2 months.. soo we are crossing our fingers it happens any day now.

I have been wanting to plan a trip there, but I have been holding off to see if we hear anything that way I can fly with my husband!

Don't hold your breath for CIC guys, make your plans! Just look at it this way, regardless if you make you plans and go, if CIC calls you the day after you get back from your vacation, you'll book a flight the first chance you get, even if it for a weekend! So please don't let CIC hold you hostage, they have already put so much of you life on hold, just go and enjoy ur spouses and kniw that eventually you get you visas! I'm October 2014 and still waiting! So just keep the faith and believe!

I know what u mean sb14! I've used up all but 3 days of my vacation, but if I do get the call I will take an emergency leave for 2 or three days and just spend 2 days in the DR to travel back with my hubby+ I refuse to let cic control anymore of my life! But I understand ur position but like I said don't wait around for cic they are taking their sweet as time and I realized with the elections coming in October things may slow to a crawl! Especially if the conservatives get voted out, which looks like it may happen

well... it's almost over! that's how I look at it. I ordered notes, and should get them in another 10 days or so... hopefully they will give an indication of what's going on! This whole process for me has been okay, just the last few weeks have been stressful! but I'm feeling optimistic for us 2014 applicants!!

I am on the same boat, I'm very pessimistic. I'm tired of this, how long will they be working on late 2014 applicants? It looks like there's only one agent working on family applications. Skilled worker applicants have been receiving their aors and so on and we're stuck here. I just want to see ANY 2015 applicant receive their AOR 2. I'm not really buying anymore that the SD transfer is the one causing the delay. They are the VO for almost all latinamerica. I'm sorry for the rant :'(

Anyway, I already booked my flight for December I can't wait anymore.

the 8 photos they need what kind of pictures i need to submit and how?

just curious for those who have received UCI #'s for the applicants, and can log onto Ecas under the applicants info...
they are constantly updating my husband's address, and I didn't know if this recent update was just a system update or what...
Originally it only showed my husbands "current mailing address" and then it updated as my address... now as of today it shows both his "current home address" and his "current mailing address"... both as his Dominican address

you need 8 immigration photos. look at the country specific checklist, it has information on the immigration photos.

for imm 0008, do you have any children.. they would be your dependants

they are like a passport picture.. but a little different. make sure you tell the photo place that its for immigration!

if you have no dependants, you don't fill anything out.. only for yourself

I couldn't tell ya. We have no UCI# for my husband yet. Sucks... still in limbo. I've basically decided that it probably won't be until October or November before we even get our AOR2 from Mexico....stupid immigration. Makes me grumpy!

I really thought Mexico would clean up the 2014's quicker than they are... how silly of me to think that!!! haha

MCVO is currently working on December applicants. CANANICA from Nicaragua received AOR2 on July 20. 135 days after SA. Things are moving... albeit slowly. As a January applicant I'm hoping in 2 weeks to a month we will receive AOR2 from Mexico.
