I am curious to know what the visa use before date is.
Or how many weeks or months you have to use the visa.

the letter they emailed us said they need to receieve his passport within 30 days and has to enter Canada before March 2017... it's based on the medical and when it expires. My husband just redid his so that's why he has a far expiry date

Did you have to send both by courier?

Just thinking if it's only the police clearance that has to be couriered than maybe we could do it prior to the interview and hand it to them there. What do you think?

they requested the police clearance be sent by courier, we did but I know some people from the interview just emailed it and Mexico was happy with that. It needs to be translated and certified as well.

For medical, you dont have to send anything, the doctor sends it but we sent the receipt so they knew it was done

I just sent a request for my husband to come with a visitor visa online.. I submitted everything yesterday.. It say 9 days i will get a response as per proccessing times on CIC even though ive waited a little over 5 months for my husbands sponsorship app with no news yet which is nothing i know cuz at 8-9 months mark is when ppl start really wondering whats going on.. However i already feel desperate to know but those 9 days seem to be the longest 9 days of my life lol i really hope we get the visitor visa.. This distance is so hard i hope we get approved that in the meantime while waiting for PR

if you applied online for the visitor visa, you should get an answer quicker than 9 days!
the first time we applied, we got the answer within 5 days (approved), and just the other week, he was approved not even 48 hours after submitting everything. we are waiting for passport to be sent back to the VAC!

passport is on the way back from Mexico, he will be arriving April 22
then we have to send his passport back to Mexico since we got PPR last week too
I emailed Mexico since his passport was already there for the visitor visa but they never replied.. surprise surprise

Our passport is finally on the way back also!! Finally this is almost over for both of us!
