Congratulations. Follow ups really yield results, especially when your application has exceeded normal processing times. It worked for me too.

U mean u got an approval minutes after follow up,and they approve u the same day?did u use the same email u used to apply to make the enquiries?

The timing of receipt of the Biometric Validity Letter (BVL) may be indicative of whether or not your application has been approved.
If you did not submit an upfront medical exam report and IRCC never requested medical exams from you, but sent you a BVL instead, then it's more than likely your application has been refused.

When you apply without submitting upfront medical exam report, you either get a request to do your medicals or you get your BVL followed by a refusal letter. Most people I know who got their study permit applications approved, received their BVLs same day as they received their Passport Requests (PPRs). This was way after they had received the medical exam request and had passed the medical exams. I received my BVL and PPR in the same minute.

On the 23 rd of november when I was emailed about my passed medicals ,I was being told the date of biometrics completion,pls is that the same as the bvl?

Go for the upfront medical, if you want to make it for the September class because ircc can't finalize your application without your medical assessment.

things like this happen. I have seen threads where people waited for months like your situation. Just email then and ask for the status of your application since it has passed the normal processing time. You have to check and make sure your medicals has not expired. Medicals is valid for one year, if it has been more than a year since you did the medicals then you have to do another one and send the confirmation through webform to them.

one other funny aspect is that,they last replied to the enquiry on 30th April this year,since then there has been no replies on further enquiries,does that mean my application will be rejected?

Guys, my application just got updated. My eligibility review started about two days ago after I sent them (Accra immigration) an email and followed up with a webform. Just this afternoon there has been another update on medicals. It says “we are reviewing the results of your medical exams”. I did not provide an upfront medical so I don’t know what they mean by that. Did anybody get any such update ? Is it even normal?
