Hi
I just started the process of Express entry. Wanted to check if my ECE scores of USA can replace ECA in canada or do I need to take ECA.
any pointers will be helpful
Thanks A ton!
"How will I know where to get my Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)?
Three of the designated organizations can assess any foreign educational credential:
Comparative Education Service: University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies,
International Credential Assessment Service of Canada, and
World Education Services.
Most people will be able to choose one of those three to do their ECA.
But, if your primary occupation is
specialist physician (2011 NOC code 3111), or
general practitioner/family physician (2011 NOC code 3112),
you must get your credentials assessed by the Medical Council of Canada.
And, if you are a pharmacist (NOC code 3131), you must get your credentials assessed by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (professional body for Pharmacists)."

An ECA is a mandatory document, and CIC only accepts it from the designated organizations listed above. Good luck!!!!
