you will want to do some extra studying and rewrite your IELTS. Check what the minimum score is for your NOC skill level.

Hi,
I have several questions regarding the Express Entry Profile.

1) When I fill the profile, I realize that I need provide work history. I have some working experience when I was in university. It almost 6 years ago, and I do not think I can find a NOC Code for that job. Is it necessary for me to provide all the work history?

2) I am still waiting my Province Nomination. If I get my Province Nomination AFTER I submit the EE Profile, can I update my score? Or do I need to cancel it and create a new one? Will this affect my application?

3) When will I get my checklist? After I submit the EE Profile or after I get an ITA?

Thank you~

Can someone help me on this please?

I have 2 years of experience, Ielts 6.5 in all section, ECA masters but stilll it shows i am not eligible? I fall under FSW category.

Can some one explain me why i am facing this problem and what steps i cant take to overcome this?

You must meet the minimum level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in English or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) 7 in French for your first official language in all four language abilities.

To get points for your second official language, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in all four language abilities

Yes if i convert CLB 7 into IELTS it shows 6 in all sections

CLB Level Reading Writing Listening Speaking
10 8.0 7.5 8.5 7.5
9 7.0 7.0 8.0 7.0
8 6.5 6.5 7.5 6.5
7 6.0 6.0 6.0 6.0
6 5.0 5.5 5.5 5.5
5 4.0 5.0 5.0 5.0
4 3.5 4.0 4.5 4.0

YES YOU ARE RIGHT, SORRY FOR CONFUSION

Hi Expert Friends,

I have more than 15 + years experience spanning across 3 different IT MNC's. My roles matches with NOC code 2171.
My IELTS score is Speaking -8.0 ,Reading -7.0, Listening -6.5 and Reading -6.0. But when i filled express entry profile I am getting only 13 points for my experience. But i should get 25 points for experience as i have more than 6 years in NOC 2171

My job titles are different in these 3 companies( titles are technical consulatnt, associate consulatnt, principle consultant) but roles matches with 2171. what is required to to fill to match noc 2171 and to get 25 points for skill transferability factors under experience while filling the express entry profile.

Kindly suggest

I have a 4 years bachelor degree(India) and I have the ECA for this

I also have a 2 years Canadian diploma

so how much points should I get for my education? I have entered both and I got 112 points

I think I should get 119 as I have one degree and one diploma (equals to two or more degrees or diplomas or certificates)

If I am right which option should I select ( I guess I can't select " two or more degrees/diplomas for a single education)

please advice

Hi friends,

Both my wife and I have created EE profiles (with each other as dependent off course in both profiles), I have about 10 score lead over her, but we have her documents all ready.

Now since difference in score is pretty less, so if in a draw both of us get invites, what should I do with my profile/invite? Simply withdraw my profile from EE, right?

Two questions:

My fiance is applying EE... I'm a canadian citizen, and we're in common law relationship
So even though I am a spouse, I don't need to settle with him .. when he's filling in the EE profile, is he considered as a single candidate? or a candidate with a spouse?

2nd question - my fiance studied in a canadian university, and he was on a coop/intern program, so he studies for one term in school and work for one term (full time) outside of school, then study for a term again, and work again... etc.

does these time count towards the canadian work experience question in EE profile?

These were official skilled work positions that lasted four months long each, so if we count all of them, they accumulate to about more than a year worth of canadian work experiences...

Thanks so much.

I'm asking this because I realized a SINGLE candidate get more points for being single.. LOL

Why does he use EE if you are Canadian Citizen? Just sponsor him as a spouse.
