Hi Seniors,

My friend is working as software tester. Is he is eligible for EE..???

His NOC code is 2283 and skill level B job.

It all depends on how he scores in other area. This EE system isn't depends on NOC alone. NOC is only important to prove that his job is SKILLED work (NOC O, A or B). He needs to calculate his points using the program that Canada Visa developed or check his eligibility using the CIC Eligibility Checking tool.

Hi,

I am filling my express entry profile under code 2174. Could someone please help me on below -

1) Under Work experience section - I have onshore and offshore experience within one company. Do I need to enter each specific detail splitting the duration by adding new rows for one company? Same query if someone got promoted in one company.
2) Under Immigration history and citizenship - I already applied under FSW but looks like cap was full and so I am applying under express entry now. So if I say 'Yes', system asks for Unique Client Identifier which I do not have and is a compulsory field. What should I do?
3) I am the primary applicant and applying for my Spouse as well. She does not have ECA as of now and have just requested to WES. I do not think I am getting these points in January draw. My question is will her ECA points be considered when I try to update profile after I get her ECA and before next draw?
4) Do we have any date on first draw EE in Jan?

1. As long as your work term changes (full time to part time or vice versa) you need to create a separate entry. Same with job title changes.

2. You need to say NO here because your previous application was returned to you due to cap reach so technically CIC has no file open for you.

Please what would my friend that is 37 years with masters degree and 6yrs+ experience in NOC 1111 with enough funds for her family, scored listening 7.5, reading 6.0, writing 6.5 and speaking 7.0 while her spouse scored listening 6.5, reading 5.0, writing 7.0 and speaking 8.0 no PNP, nomination no job offer, no relative abroad, no foreign credentials score in Express Entry/Expression of Interest?

i am working in Montreal Quebec and it has been 1 year. I have done LMO and on work permit. have 8 Band Ielts score also

Do i qualify for Express interest - am asking this bcos of so much confusion on people working in quebec applying for federal

Your LMO supported work permit needs to be still valid by the time you submit your PR application after you are invited to apply. LMO is just an old version of LMIA. In addition, you need to show that you are willing to settle outside of Quebec which pretty much means you will need to get a new job with a positive LMIA (new version of LMO) outside of Quebec because your current one will state that you are working for a Quebec employer and express entry is for people who are intended to reside in all provinces except Quebec.

I think there must be a bug in the system. I have submitted my profile and created a Job Bank profile yet I received a message instructing me to create a Job Bank profile and my Job Bank Registration still says pending. Surely this is an error on their part.

I am not sure how job bank registration works since I do not have to do one. You may have better luck fixing the issue if you contact CIC directly.

My question is

Does my Canadian work experience counts towards EE ?

From what I read on this forum it seems like in order for your work experience to be counted for points it needs to be related to your intended occupation.

You will most likely have to include them even if they are not related because when you submit your PR application you will have to complete your personal history for the past 10 years and CIC doesn't allow any time gaps. Include it now and don't let CIC questions why you did not include it beforehand.

Hello experts,

I am in big big problem . BY mistake i have updated my profile and signed again electronically.

After that in my cic account i ave recvd and email that now i am not elgible to apply for exp entry.
I visited my profile i am shocked to see my profile has been reset now information is present and i am not elegible anymore.

BUt as per the previous email on 22nd jan i have in my account it clearly stated that m in ee pool and my profile is activated with 373 score.

Pls help me to reterive my profile again

I think you simply update your profile to your most current information and then sign and transmit it again. If it still doesn't work then create a new MyCIC account and submit a new profile.

What if I don't know the NOC Code??

I cannot enter work expirience without noc code. And finding NOC Code for 10 different jobs won't be easy

I have a question concerning the total number of points. I am interested to apply to Saskatchwen province under Saskatchwen express entry.

The process entails two steps one entering the pool of the federal express entry and the second step is to apply to the province after receiving an invitation to apply. The requirement of total points for Sasketshwen is 60 points out of 100.
The express entry quiz stated that I might still be eligible to apply and it gave me a number to do so to start my application.

My question is: which points system is the one to follow?

Both. You need to first meet the minimal requirement of one of the 3 federal programs. If you are eligible and obtained the EE Code and Job Seeker # then you can apply to the SK EE Stream when it opens in February. Once you have your nomination you can update your EE Profile to reflect that then get SK to confirm the nomination within 30 days.

No, you are eligible for both programs but all done in one big draw. When you get an invite CIC will specific which program you will be applying under.

LOL seach on the NOC website or hire a consultant to do it for you if you are too lazy to complete your application

I got it my pdf message stating I was in the pool and the JB registration finally went through. How come you do not have to register with Job Bank? It seems silly I have to do giving I am already working in Canada.
