First Doc request revived Dec 2009
Hominine received in Jan 2010
Applied at UK CHC Jul 2010
Received Medical Request Nov 2010
Copies of Passport request Jun 2011
Passports request in Aug 2011 and after a week visa was stamped

Did your friend's brother submit any additional documents in between medical and passport request?There is delay of almost 7 months. In most of the cases, the gap is not more than three months.

i think u need to wait till december "minimum"
