My medical is expiring on 2nd November. I have submitted my passport to Islamabad High commission on 29th August. I dont know how long embassy is going to take for printing visa. Looking at your cases it seems like it can take take 4 to 8 months.

What should I do. My visa office is Ottawa. Should I send an email to Ottawa or Islamabad about this situation.

As per information, before travel u must have atleast 6 month passport expiry.

Yes i hope that within 4 to 5 weeks, u'll get ur passport return but u have short time to enter in canada so be ready and pack ur stuff by which u can travel easily.
I m also in ur same boat. But i have enough timing of medical expiry but i m waitinh for passport bcz after that i have to start wind up.

i am sure they will issue u a visa by end of this month, so that you will have a month to travel , my medical will expire on 16 dec 2014 as of today i have not receive ppr 1 and ppr 2 , let hope for the best, sometimes they give u very short time to travel. i wish all the best to you and Sani

Hi .
I am SINP Applicant from . My application was submitted in Jan 2014 and I got email from Sydney in Aug 2014 that CIO Nova has just received my application with UCI number and confirm me before processing new bank draft we need to clarify that If you have not received the previous cheque which I applied in 2008 in federal . Can any body tell me how long more it would take for me to receiver AOR from CIO. My visa office is London .
