You will have to take IELTS for sure as PNP applicant... SINP will ask you just before nominating you... so Its better not to worry about it rather start preparing for it

Regarding IELTS band... your expired is more than enough for your NOC... SINP minimum Criteria for each modules is enough for you in your NOC..

As much as i know, London Visa office do not normally send out an acknowledgement letter to the applicants that have their cases transferred to them from CIO/CIC. However, insofar you have a valid IELTS as at the time your case was received by CIC, you may not need to re-sit for new IELTS. Though this may sometimes depends on the Visa officer. I will suggest you enroll for new IELTS ASAP to prepare for the worst.

Note: This is just my personal opinion and experience from other thread.

Lvo or cic can require fresh ielts anytime. When ur ielts will expire then lvo send u email to send fresh ielts Once u receive AOR by cic then lvo will give u any acknowledgment.
I done ielts 2 times , once at province level and 2 nd time at cic level. So dont be frustrate, its game of our patience, talent and wait. So good luck for ur ielts and sub

Well Explained my zeedof, For new IELTS result is all on discretion of VO. But circumstances are more likely that they will not ask you. but you should take IELTS just for fun.. like there was no requirement that my spouse take IELTS but my spouse did it and i submitted with application to enhance the look of my application, (spouse IELTS was: L: 8.0/R: 6.5/W: 6.5/S: 6.5). I also enhanced the aesthetic of my application by submitting the Licensing board certificate about my professional credential proactively, which says that my education and experience is all up to the level of canadian one, and fully eligible to take exam and practice my profession, as my profession is regulated in Canada as do in UAE. I can bet no Pharmacist has done this before me for his application.
That is why once i submitted this evaluation certificate i received MR, PPR-1, PPR-2 and Visas just within 3.5 months after submitting this certificate, even they didn't ask me to submit one or more of the following documents which is must for all at least one of them

1. Updated Bank Statement (I am maintaining ACC since 5 years)
and/or
2. Settlement Plan (Evaluation Certificate was enough to show my Plans that i am looking my self to become clinical pharmacist)
and/or
3. Job Description (again Evaluation Certificate was enough to show my job duties as Pharmacist has pre defined set of work in all setups)

Better to be proactive than to waste time.. Take IELTS..

Once thing i forgot to ask you that did you submit your application to Centralized Intake Office (In Canada) OR Directly at London Office (In UK)?

Zahidas: Whats your visa office? But its good if your family outside Pakistan because you can send passports any where in the world by aramix or dhl but if you are in Pakistan its illegal to send passports via courier . Sani: after the ppr1 ask your spouse to send passport from spain to london for visa stamp and after ppr2 you submit your passport in islamabad and dont ask your spouse to send passport to you in Pakistan bcz he can send it to you but after visa stamp how you send it back bcz its illege to send or carry someone else passport.

My visa office is LVO...... my wife is on visit visa she is not allowed to send passport outside Saudi arabia ....

Your processing office is Abu Dhabi or London?
Whatever is your processing office you will have to email your scanned passport for PPR-1 and updated information chart to that embassy when they will ask you...
Once you receive it you will have to submit your original passport to Islamabad if you (Principle applicant) living in Pakistan or Abu Dhabi if Principle applicant living in Saudi Arabia

few months back i submitted my fee online and i got this reply ...

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept this method of payment at the Canadian High Commission in London. You are therefore kindly requested to re-submit payment by bankers draft in the amount of $XXXX CAD – this should be made payable to The Receiver General for Canada.

We are unable to refund the online CIC payment. Please contact CIC Canada directly and ask them to refund the full amount. Their website states that you should send a request for a refund with a copy of the receipt by fax to 613-952-6399 or by e-mail to HPM.PROD @ cic.gc.ca with a scanned copy of the receipt.

As much as it's clearly stated in the letter sent to you from LVO. that you are expected to pay your RPRF. with Bank Draft/Cheque. I still think you can raise CSE. inquiries and tagged it Urgent to take permission from LVO. to pay the fee online. If you check FSW 2013 thread, many people have paid it online to LVO. and they did not have any problem but you have to remember that they applied on FSW while you applied on PNP.

Having said that, if i were you, i will make the payment with Bank Draft/Cheque as early as possible.
