Kids are not required to undergo lab tests or X-rays.
your new expiry will be of 1 year. (according to my point of view)
You can ask Visa office about the full medical examination or X-ray and can show the reply to IOM.
Next they will proceed for PPR-1 which means you will need to submit Photocopies of Passports and Pictures.
