CIC updated their quarterly update of processing times and time for London has increased from 27 to 29. Also Islamabad timestream also added and it is 52 months. Why have they added Islamabad in the economic class when it is not taking any economic class cases.?
check again they added isd for family class for economy class its still london

they treat pakistani's like this :(

But 29 months are for All countries dealing from London so it is not just for Pakistan. Pakistan cases might be faster than the rest in London.

Islamabad visa office Afghan economic classes applicants k ley hy or 52 months b afghan applicants k ley islamabad visa office me show ho rhy hn. Pakistani applicants k ley still LVO hy

I checked some cases of Manila in this forum and noticed that their average time of getting PR is 4-5 months while the processing time in the website is 12 months. So if most of them getting their PR in less time then why is CIC showing high timeline.? Is it the case with LVO as well. Or does it take full 27-29 months?

Makeen bhai ajj apki aor ko 9 months ho gye hain .moosejaw bhai ki aor bhi june end ki hai so unke bhi 9 months ho gye hain.you r waoiting for first response from vo.pata nahi aur kitni wait karni padagi.jo pehle tha 8to9 months ke middle main first response hai.main 20march ka wait kar raha tha k apka or moosejaw bhai ka 20 march se pehle ho jayega.aap cse daal k dekh lo .kuch to batangae .good luck.

Yeah I remember, just before nomination i used to see LDVO website and it was written that PNP applications are finalized in 6 months and i was being happy that ok only matter of nomination. After nomination they kept on changing the processing time from 15 months to 27 and now 29. anyhow we can only wait with patience.

second thing i noticed is that when you login to your ECAS, you see the application process as follows,

Status of your application: Explanation:

1. IN PROCESS Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
Documentation Verified by CIC
An Interview May be Required

2. WITHDRAWN Application Withdrawn

3. DECISION MADE Medical Results Received by CIC
Approval Status Determined
Permanent Residence Status Determined

4. COMPLETE Applicant Arrives in Canada and is Granted Permanent Residence

This table shows that completion of application includes travelling after PR visa has been issue. So 29 months time includes arriving at the port of entry in Canada. So Visa Expiry time period may be included in this complete processing time. This table also shows that receiving medicals by VO is a part of decision made... so according to my perceptions sometimes VO issue medicals just after receiving application from CIO and after that wait for the response from all countries where they check security and criminality, sometimes they wait for all checks and then send you MR. ALL depend on the response of all the countries you lived for security and criminality from their respective authorities. In this regard, I will say that may be Arab Authorities are slow because they need Arabic translation so may be a bit delay, and pakistani authorities are ignorant and workless.

This i am sure because one of my friend has sent for verification of his Licensing in health care and when health authorities received letter for verification they lost the letter somewhere, in the end there was tremendous delay in his application.

so hope for best. wait more and you get more like Canada Dream country to live.

Folks,
Just a piece of useful info. CIC announced 2014 Permanent Resident Overseas Operational Targets by Office Applications Finalized (in persons):

For London Visa Office (2014):

Quebec Skilled Workers: 350
Quebec Business: 350
Provincial/Territorial Nominees: 2575
Live-in Caregivers (Dependants abroad): 2
Federal Business: 850
Federal Skilled Workers: 12500

Total: 16627

It means only 2575 PNP applicants and 12500 FSW applicants will be getting visas this year at London Visa Office.

Here is the whole list:
