Feb 13 = After MR, they requested Updated forms/updated PCC (due to the time delay in processing, our previous PCC i sent were no longer valid)
Mar 13 = Updated forms had history of last 10 years. They asked to re-submit history from age 18 years onwards...this is for Pakistanis only I guess
May 13 = recent passport copies for me and my spouse only (bio page only)
Jun 13 = All previous passport copies for me and my spouse from age 18 years onwards + Addresses and countries resided since Birth + Phone numbers in use since year 2000

Every time I saw the email from london, i would hope to find PPR but when i opened the mail there was only additional doc request
I had finally given up all hope by end July but then I got PPR1 in Aug!

I assume that my case was unusual as I and my spouse had visited UAE to meet our relatives 2 or 3 times...maybe that is the reason for so much additional document verification. Or maybe it was just by chance that our case was randomly picked for rigorous bkg checking.

I pray that others don't have to face so much difficulty. Keep your hopes high and don't hide /misrepresent anything. Do all your paper work properly and InshaAllah you'll succeed.

They requested four times additional docs from you but concluded it in 5 months from feb to june. So it is not late. And they also didn't ask for settlement plan.

Visa will expire on 18 Feb 2014 so have to land before that. I'm planning to leave as soon as I get visa InshaAllah

Why there is time limitations for visa validity?
If you have enter then the count will start for minimum days Stay for passport revisions?
If yes, either you need stay in the same province till your passport and citizenship changed?

My category is AINP family stream PNP. I had sent my complete package to CIO in June12 and got AOR in July 12. CHC london sent me a letter in JAN 13 and asked for medical , PCC and RPRF. Me and my spouse did medical on 27th Feb 13. First week of May13 I got email in which they asked updated documents request.
My husband traveled London 2 times and KSA 1 time in 2006. His first visit duration was for 10 days and second visit duration was for 12 days. His umrah visit duration was only for 5 days. I mention his all these travels in Suplementory Information your Travel form, but in his background declaration form in column Personal history I forgot to mension his travels.Now in updated documents request they didn,t ask to fill Suplementory Information your Travel form. My question is should I inform them my spouse travel now or wait for their response. After sending updated documents in mid May13 I have no communication with LVO. Processing has started on my application since last week of Jan 13.Ecase shows medical received line. I have sent first time status enquiry email on 10 Sep but yet no reply.

Hi Saman,

You need to just fillout those forms as same you filled in past. There is no Need mentioned any short duration in days, if you and your spouse stayed in any other country then pakistan more than 3 months then you need to specify the time duration.
Else just put that you stayed in pakistan since you turned 18 yo.

Visa is valid only till medicals are valid. We should travel before our medicals expire. If even one family member's passport is expiring before Medical expiry, then the whole family's visas will expire on that date! I am applying to CIO, Nova Scotia soon. As you all are aware that its compulsory to attach photocopy of ID card and its notarized translation.

Now I want to ask that do I need to attach affidavit of translator also along with just photocopy of ID & its translation?

Hi Ace,

You just need to make photocopy and notorize it and English translation and notorize it.
No need to attach the affidavit , as notery public attestation will act as official as true copy.
This is needed for all of your educational documents, marriage certificate, form B for kids under age 18.

Dear Imran bhai it is mention on their checklist and other guides that if u submit any document that is not in English or French then you must submit it with English or French translation along with translators affidavit. and in one affidavit you can include all docs i.e.. CNIC OF XYZ BA DEGREE OF MR XYZ, BIRTH CERT OF MR XYZ AND BIRTH CERT OF MRS. ABC ................... I did the same and in Karachi at hasan square it is not a big deal only cost 150 rupies.
so why one should take risk when it is possible to fulfill requirement
